LIBRARIES ADD UZBEKISTANI LIBRARIANS TO DREXEL'S GLOBAL CONTACTS On Tuesday, July 24, 2012, the Libraries welcomed four librarians from Uzbekistan who were visiting the United States on a three-week U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program entitled "Conservation of Libraries." NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION SESSIONS PROVIDE UNIQUE INTRODUCTION TO THE LIBRARIES
A memorable and interactive orientation presentation aims to leave students with a positive impression of the Libraries and library staff. More >>> NEW WEB PAGES TO HELP IMPROVE USER EXPERIENCE The Libraries redesigned and launched four new Web pages in late July to help improve navigation of the website. These new pages will help to surface content and more quickly direct users to the most helpful resources and information. More >>> INPUT TO IMPLEMENTATION: PRINTING, SCANNING AND COPYING SERVICES During the last academic year, the Libraries launched an official effort to assess its services for printing, copying and scanning. Initial improvements included some updated equipment for printing at W.W. Hagerty Library and for scanning at Hahnemann Library. More >>>

PEGGY DOMINY, a talented quilter and the Libraries' liaison librarian for science and math, presented a quilt to the Special Libraries Association in honor of its 40th Anniversary. The quilt was presented at the organization's conference held this July in Chicago.
