His ambition is to help his invalid father by becoming rich. That opens the way to some temptations that bring him into big trouble.

Micah has encounters with the Roman soldiers in Judea and some rather unsavoury characters along the way  before he discovers the real treasure awaiting in a stable in Bethlehem.
