Reaching Out for Emotional Support

The National Parent Helpline is so much more than an Information & Referral line. I & R lines are critical, but the Helpline provides important resources for those who, at that moment, need emotional support more than anything else. We knew we were on the right path when a series of calls drew our attention.

  • The first-time dad who needed tips on infant care
  • A new mother who needed reassurance about her parenting skills
  • The mother who was concerned about her daughter being bullied
  • A mother who needed advice about how she and her ex-husband could work together to stop their daughter's defiant behaviors.

Callers praised the National Parent Helpline for helping them in ways that no other resource had been able to do. Thank you for putting your trust in the National Parent Helpline!

Parents Anonymous Program recognized as Evidence-Based!

We are pleased to announce that the Parents Anonymous Program is now listed in the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare (CEBC).
