In Nara park in Japan, near Kyoto, a strong wind creates a rain of cherry blossom petals, it is called "Hana Fubuki" in Japanese, or "flower storm". This is the inspiration for the name of one of our pure green teas, Hanafubuki Genmaicha. Genmaicha has popped brown rice kernels that mirror the appearance of white cherry blossoms on the wind.
Hanafubuki Genmaicha  is a blend of semi-sweet Kariage (green tea) and Genmai (brown rice) produced in Japan. This tea is characterized by the refreshing aroma of tea leaves and roasted Genmai
