You have said,
"Seek my face."
My heart says to you,
"Your face, LORD,
do I seek."
Psalm 27:8

Dear Child of God (That's you!),

Your Creator invites you to spend a day away, resting and listening, reflecting on your life and your ideas about God.
Yes, you are busy: you can think of lots of reasons not to take the time for a quiet day. The gift of this day will be to return with a quieter heart and mind, renewed along your path through Lent. Explore the wilderness in good company and reconnect to your Source.

Saturday, March 24th, 10 am to 3 pm

A Day Away
Saturday, March 24th
We will meet at beautiful St. Ann's Church, Lincoln, MA, at 10:00 am. We will begin with a brief time of prayer and a few words to frame the day, then enjoy over an hour of quiet time. We will gather again before lunch for another brief reflection, enjoy a simple lunch, more quiet time, and then end with an informal Eucharist and time of sharing. We leave at 3 pm.

During the quiet times, you can pray, read, journal, make art (supplies provided), or walk one of the nature paths that cut through the property. There are lots of beautiful spaces around the church. Also, Pastor Amy will be available for conversation, confession, and prayer. Coffee, tea, and nibblies available through the day.

Cost is $10, cash or check to CGS, payable the day of the retreat. If you'd like to bring bread, cheese, or fruit to contribute to the lunch, let Carol know.

To Sign Up:
Email Carol Roberts ([email protected]). We have space for 18 participants. Please let us know of food concerns & allergies. Also let us know whether you need a ride or have a ride to offer others.
