I have been been busy on a new range of Belgium telephones commonly known as the
kettle
phone. These date
from the late
1950s early 1960s and
are very
popular. I have teamed up with a company that paints them professionally in some very
beautiful colours. These are wonderful telephones having been
totally stripped down and rebuilt. I have fitted them with more pleasing handsets from the period and use a GPO 21a dial, one of the best and most reliable ever made. They are very desirable item with only very limited stock
Another project is to supply some lovely GECoPHONES in black at affordable prices. I have eight with repaired cases, handsets, internals or non standard dials. They will look stunning and no paint will have been used in their restoration. They will be fully working and tested but will be at much lower prices than if perfect. I have done this with some Siemens 312 internal bell models and they have sold very well. I will also have a few of these coming up.

Restore your family's old telephone.
For around £100 I can restore to near perfection your 300 series telephone. This will include a new braided handset cord, electronic microphone and a GPO specification round plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket. It will be totally stripped down, polished and rebuilt after replacing any non working parts with period replacements from telephones broken for spares. Any broken Bakelite parts will be charged on top of this price.
The telephone must be complete and have a metal chrome fronted dial. If all you want is your old telephone working with a new electronic microphone and able to dial out and receive I can usually do this for around £40 while you wait or drop off and collect the same day. Add £15 for return postage on restoration projects. Contact me for packing instructions to prevent your family heritage piece being damaged in the post.

ime of year we are coming out of the garden and looking to improve our house interiors for the winter months. My orders start to build now and so if you have seen something that is rare and unusual you must secure it soon. Although the site is packed with great items now, they start to sell quicker than I can replace them. Items are getting harder to find every year and this is no exception and so although times are quite tough I have been paying more for good items and so far not passed the extra costs on.
