Private Library Unveiling

What would you give to have your own Private Appliance Repair Google Search Engine? One that includes the last 20 years of tech sheets, manuals, repair updates plus information on all the brand new stuff. Impossible you say. Nobody has that! Wrong. I do. Better yet it's available to you for FREE.

First, the details. I have experienced, researched, archived, scanned, written about, photographed and recorded appliance repairs for over 40 years.  In addition I enjoy the challenge of keeping up with all the latest models. All that old and brand new material has been carefully organized and loaded onto my new website, an open platform, an ever evolving, amazing resource available only to my students.

You can search by model, brand, part or symptom. Any key word(s) can be used to describe your problem. Information will be located among thousands of pages, videos, .pdfs and .ppts and instantly displayed.

Up-to-date manuals for imports like Samsung, Dacor, Meile, LG, Bosch, Wolf, Fisher-Paykel and dozens more. Of course all the normal Whirlpool, GE, Electrolux stuff is extensively covered too.

Take the site for a trial ride and see for yourself. See link for more details.
A Day With Uncle Harry

On a few occasions during the last 13 years a student has lived close enough to visit and spend a day running service calls. A few months back, Albert Peachy, from PA did exactly that.  It turned into an interesting day for Albert and an unusual opportunity for you to get a first hand impression of what a day of service calls is really like. You can experience the day through Albert's eyes.

At the end of our day together, I asked Albert a few questions and recorded our conversation. I broke the recording into two parts:

I hope you enjoy Albert as much as I did.

Recent Survey Results

A few weeks ago I sent out a survey and a large percentage of you were kind enough to respond. A sincere thank you! The feedback is helping us improve our service to you. Highlights so far are:

First, you guys are very interested in a webinar. OK, that means I have work to do getting one ready. Stand by for updates. We'll make it a fun happening.

Second, you want to hear more testimonials. (And I thought three hours was plenty.)  In the past few weeks with my new Google Voice App, I have recorded more student help calls for you to listen to. They should give you good insight into typical help calls. Take a listen to five recent ones.

Brian in Hawaii; Gas dryer help; Front loader problems;
Oven igniter issueGetting parts.

Third, many of you worry about repairing all the strange new stuff you see in Lowes and Home Depot. Don't worry so much.  Such oddball work is a tiny percentage of what we see, but nevertheless, your concerns have prompted me to create my Private Library Website, highlighted above, and upload all my secret treasures for you to access.  With this new resource you are equal to any tech anywhere!  See more details.
