GARDENLIFE Recommends:

Bobbex Deer Repellent is the most effective long lasting spray on the market. It safely disrupts the foraging patterns of deer and deters them from browsing on your property.

SoilSoup byGreenOrganics

After just one or two treatments of SoilSoup your plants will start to look healthier; the lawn is greener, the flowers have bigger and more colorful blooms, the fruit and vegetables taste better, and the roses look great without any mildew!

Raised Bed                                             Sharon  Bruce
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Raised BedMy typical vegetable planting modus operandi is to purchase way more plants and seeds than my allocated plot allows, but fortunately my husband Bruce is a very understanding and empathetic man. After 47 years of marriage, he knows it is better to build another raised bed, rather than look at my forlorn face and hear my constant wishful sighs. The new bed is perfect (until my next plant purchasing binge)! For instructions on how Bruce made the new bed

Sonora SmartWhile Sonora Smart Dodd was listening to a Mother's Day sermon in Spokane, Washington in 1909, it inspired her to suggest a special day to honor fathers. Her father, William Jackson Smart, was a Civil War veteran who raised his six children alone after his wife died. The mayor of Spokane proclaimed the first Father's Day celebration on June 19, 1910 because that was Mr. Smart's birthday month. In 1966, President Lyndon Johnson officially designated the third Sunday in June as Father's Day. Six years later, President Richard Nixon signed it into law, making Father's Day a permanent celebration. Traditionally fathers are given a red rose to wear on Father's Day if their fathers are alive or a white rose if deceased. Thanks to Sonora Dodd, we have a special day to celebrate our fathers.
