Rollerski speed reducers

For the fellow wanting to give roller skiing a try as a better way to get into the ski season, there should be a mention of the possibility of breaking and speed reducing systems that put you more in control of your own safety through Jenex  and their programs. I know that these two items have saved me a lot of skin and gives me more confidence every time I step onto my roller skis.

Rollerskiing Across America

"Fighting hunger one mile at a time."

Carolyn and Santi Ocariz are roller-skiing across America (3,000 + miles) in attempts to inspire giving to those who are desperately in need "Fighting hunger one mile at a time."
While sharing the message that 36 US dollars can feed a child in an impoverished country for a year is very thought-provoking.   skiacrossamerica.com

How far apart and wide are ski tracks?

To continue on the distance apart set for ski tracks, I recall watching track setters in Oslo at the 1984 world masters competition that had infinitely variable width tracks adjusted from in the tractor cab with a hydraulic actuator. It was explained to me that they were setting the ideal width for different parts of the courses, wider on fast down-hills and narrower on the flats.

Crayon your softest glide wax

onto your glide zones right now!

Our complete article on summer ski storage can be viewed here.

But many of you will continue to put this off, so here is the last bit of advice. It is much better to do something than nothing. At the very least crayon your softest glide wax onto your glide zones right now!
