Concert in the Park
Join us on Saturday, September 22, during Salina AutumnFest for the first annual Concert in the Park event which will showcase local entertainers. Come enjoy the musical stylings of Troubled Times Blues Band, Don Wagner, Salina Gospel Choir, the Scragtown Werewolves, and the Last National Band as they entertain with original songs and their own arrangements of classic rock, country and R&B hits.
The concert is free to the public and sponsored by PKM Steel and the Salina Area United Way. It is sure to be rockin' good time so bring blankets, lawn chairs, and family and friends to Eric Stein Stage in Oakdale Park from 4:30-6:30pm for a celebration of Salina's talent. German food and beer will be available for purchase in conjunction with the Salina Ambucs Oktoberfest celebration in Oakdale Park.
Concertgoers wearing a Live United shirt or button will be eligible to win great prizes throughout the afternoon and will receive discounted admission to the PRS Rodeo at the Bicentennial Center Saturday evening.
Live United buttons will be available during the concert for a $5 donation. For more information, please call the Salina Area United Way at 827-1312.
