In the SPOTLIGHT!Congratulations to LUCY BEAL! Our NEWEST Platinum Executive My name is Lucy Beal, and I have been in the health and wellness industry for 25 years. I was introduced to Healthy Chocolate in early September, 2010 while participating in a health fair event to promote my coaching practice. I was really taken back at how popular this booth was with attendees, so I asked what product or service they had that was so enticing to guests. When told it was Healthy Chocolate, I knew I had to take a closer look.
The next evening, I went to a home tasting presentation hosted by my sponsors, Alison and Jon Haugan. I watched "The Whole Story" video and was captivated by what I learned. After arriving home, my husband asked me how the meeting went. I told him a bit about the product and mentioned that it was network marketing and asked, "Is this something you would support if I did it?" Without hesitation and with strong conviction, he replied, "Absolutely not!" I was dumbfounded by his response because after 24 years of marriage and support for one another, this was one avenue where he truly felt he could not give his blessing. After a sleepless night and a lot of time spent researching the health benefits of cacao on the Internet, I called Alison and Jon and said, "I am doing this!" I truly had no idea what I was actually "doing" since I had no prior experience with network marketing, but the intuitive nudge in my heart was so strong, I felt I had to honor it.
I am so grateful that I listened to my nudge! When I started the products, little did I know that it would offer quick and complete relief for sciatic nerve pain due to a 12 year old spinal injury, severe arthritis, lifelong digestion issues, complete relief from a frozen shoulder, and 10 years of struggle with eczema. Needless to say, this made my family (including my husband) quite happy!
Within 3 months of watching face-paced business growth, I made the decision to close the doors on my private coaching practice and began dedicating my efforts on building a worldwide Healthy Chocolate distribution business. I made the decision to be on every call, attend every tasting I could, and follow the wisdom and guidance of our leadership, who have paved the way for us. In two years, with the amazing guidance, leadership and support from Ambassador, Kerry Dean and everyone in The Global Partners Group, an amazing support team--Gold Executives, Alison and Jon Haugan, Gold Executive, Marcel McElroy, and Gold Executive, Shon Nelson and our amazing teams in Alabama, California, and South Carolina, I have attended the Gold Fly-In, the Alaskan cruise in August, and have now advanced to Platinum Executive, earning the Platinum Cruise in December, and the Platinum Leadership Retreat in January, 2013! I am so grateful beyond words to everyone for their support and love on this journey.
Bringing this full circle, my husband now holds a clearer vision of the power of network marketing and team building and even has his own incredible health testimonial from consuming the products. He is witness day in and day out to the joy this business affords me and the teams, and that is priceless to us both!
This business opportunity and these products have been life changing for me and my family, as well as countless others I've met in these short 2 years.  After a car accident messed up my ankle, I started to appreciate mobility and health a lot more. I decided it was time to lose the weight I had slowly been putting on since my accident ( I gained 40lbs-50lbs). I started working on my weight loss and I suddenly hit the dreaded plateau. Months of working at losing weight and not making much headway, I started to feel frustrated, and then I remembered, a few months back when I was working out at the gym, a nice little gal on the elliptical next to me was snatching goodies out of her cup holder. I asked her to share her milk duds and she laughed and said, it was just her phone, but I do know where you can get healthy chocolate. Now, hearing this, I laughed and said...not possible. She then told me that it IS possible. We go back and forth discussing this and I am telling her that she is nuts, and she then tells me that she understands why I would be thinking that, but she also continues and tells me that I'm missing some information and I should attend a tasting. Once I hit the plateau... I was ready to listen.  I went to a tasting, signed up that night and after two weeks was so excited about how I felt and the way the weight was peeling off again that I sent it to my folks who are both stage 2 diabetics! After some tire kicking and independent verification... I started telling everyone and anyone I care about that they needed to try this amazing magic chocolate! That nice little lady from the gym, she kept telling me this was also a great business. Once again, I tried hard to ignore her. I had a job, I was plenty busy and just didn't see a reason to add to what I was already doing. But people were stopping me and saying ...what in the world are you doing?! YOU look great! And so once again, I fell in behind my fearless leader and started signing up people as I went through my normal nutty busy days and weeks! I was having so much fun and what really amazed me and enthralled me is that, I found someone who needed and wanted a home based job. A dear friend of mine with 3 small children and who was already into healthy eating and raw chocolate. Shazam! Now I am hooked! Not only can I help my friends be healthier, but for those with the desire, I can help them become much wealthier as well! So, if you see Robin Cohen at the gym, give her a hug for me will you!? Jonna has recruited 40 people since January and has lost 55 pounds! Jonna is from Texas, but lives in Philadelphia.
