I was introduced to Xoçai eight months ago and soon found myself sitting in two product seminars hosted by San Diego's Rita Szczotka and Maryanne Carlin. Although I am a chocolate lover, it was the "healthy" part of the healthy chocolate that got my attention. Both my husband and I are very health conscious, we practice meditation and qigong and balance our diet with natural food. I attended these seminars with open mind to learn about Xoçai's chocolate products.
I always respect new products and am willing to educate myself to understand the new products. When I heard that Xoçai chocolate is diabetic friendly, I had a lot of questions in my head and wondered if I should let my father try this chocolate. My father has type II diabetes that runs in the family amongst the elders. Can my father eat Xoçai chocolates as craving snacks and benefit from the abundant antioxidants?
It is in my personality that when I hear something good or wonderful, I would immediately share them with other people without reservation. So I introduced Xoçai chocolates to my family and friends and some of them started eating the chocolates. After one month, many positive feedbacks started to flow back, including my father's blood sugar level. My father ate three chocolates daily and his blood sugar level was not affected. Some of my friend's high cholesterol levels were lowered by 30 to 50 mg/dL, while the good cholesterol HDL level increased. This good news really encouraged me to share Xoçai products with even more people.
Therefore, I started to play a more pro-active role to expand my business by focusing on the network marketing. All of a sudden, I realized I was an active leader in the Chinese circle in San Diego area and decided to take this as a great opportunity. In June 2011, I attended MXI 2011 Annual Convention in Indianapolis with encouragement and support from my upline Maryanne and Robin Cohen, who was visiting San Diego at that time. This convention was definitely a historic event and a turning point for me as it strengthened my business sense and gave me the exposure to Xoçai corporate levels. At the convention, I listened to all speeches given by top distributors and talked with MXI Founder and President Jeanette Brooks and VP Dan Martin. The speeches were very inspiring and I learned that I need to have dreams, I need to set goals, and I learned never to give up. I was touched by Brooks family's passion to continuously research and create powerful healthy products and to share the profits with hard working distributors. I will definitely encourage my business oriented team members to attend next year's convention in Reno, Nevada. I'm positive that they will learn and be inspired as much as I did this year.
On July 15, the first MXI product seminar for Chinese consumers and distributors was held in San Diego with close to one hundred people in attendance. The organizing distributor team included myself, Jack & Ping Hsu, and Yan Li. We had tremendous support from Rita and Maryanne and were honored to have visiting Rishon Ludders and Dan Martin to personally introduce the products, they made us feel supported straight from the MXI corporate level. We are still seeing results from this seminar two weeks after as attendees are still signing on as consumers or distributors. I am really fortunate and thankful to have Maryanne and Rita as my uplines and mentors as they gave me constant support from all aspects. This seminar is the beginning of my dreams and my goals.
After the convention, one of my goals is to lead my team to work with MXI to open global Chinese market. It won't be easy, but I learned at the convention that I need to set goals. As MXI stands for Marketing, Xocolate, and International, so going international may seem like a fitting step to bring healthy chocolates to a broader global market. My dream is through my hard work as a distributor, I will introduce Xoçai chocolates to more and more people so they can become healthier, and in the process, I will be rewarded financially. Xocia's network marketing provides the opportunity and pathway to achieve both healthy life and financial rewards. I will not give up and will continue to work hard to achieve Diamond distributor level to inspire more people.
