Four and a half years ago when we received the call from
Paula Pritchard we had no idea how our lives were about to change, and change in ways that we never would have imagined. We are extremely grateful every day for this precious gift. That one call, that one person, changed our lives forever. We had no idea that the power of this gift would change the course of our lives in ways that were only a dream.
One person changed our life. One person gave us the opportunity to live a wonderful life. One person gave us the opportunity to see parts of the world I had only read about and watched in movies. That one person believed in us and changed the lives of thousands of people. This opportunity has allowed people not only to dream again, but to live their dream of having a better future. If Paula didn't bother to pick up the phone Sandy, Kerry, Jeannie, Kim, Janet, Doreen, Robin, Rishon and so many others wouldn't be in the business living their dreams. Nor, would these wonderful people be in my life.
It's called the Power of One. It takes one. One person to make a difference and to make a difference in someone's life today.

In The Spotlight!
My first introduction to Xocai chocolate was in 2007 through my parents, who were both experiencing great health benefits from consuming the products. It was then, that they tried to get me involved in the business, however, timing is everything and it was just not the right time for me to take on a business venture, as I had just become a new mom and was working full time.
After numerous discussions and with much encouragement from my parents, I finally decided to, not only try the chocolate, but to try my hand at the business. So, in July 2009, I signed on as an Executive and within two weeks I had moved up the rank to Silver Executive. It was truly a case of "ignorance on fire" as they say, I didn't know much about the business but I was well aware of the health benefits of the products. My enthusiasm for the opportunity and the products was evident, and so my journey with Xocai began.
I have been an Elementary Teacher here for 10 years now and I am not in a position to walk away from this profession.
I thoroughly love teaching but I am equally excited to have my own business and take on a different challenge. So, slowly but steadily I will continue to build my business, not necessarily at the pace I would like, but I know the effort I put forth now will pay off later. As my mentor, Doreen Carter, would say, "we have been handed a gift, an amazing opportunity and what we do with this gift is up to ourselves, our success depends entirely on how much effort we put into our business."
Last month, I achieved the new rank of Gold Executive. I truly believe that a positive attitude coupled with perseverance it what is needed to be successful in any endeavor. Whether I am helping children to learn or helping people to make healthier choices, I know I am doing my part to give back or maybe, to pay it forward. I want to say a sincere "thank you" to Doreen, my team, my husband Roland, and my parents for their support in helping me achieve my new rank.

SILVER IN 20 HOURS!
What an amazing journey this has been, and I realize that I have not even began to surface.
My MXI experience began at a wedding a year ago, on May 1st, 2010, where a beautiful lady approached me. As Janet Hurley and
I chatted lightly, she reached into her purse and handed me a gold nugget chocolate.
WOW ! I had no idea until February 2011 what a gift she had handed me almost one year before. I joined MXI in August of 2010, initially for the purpose of the income tax break.
I work in the oil fields of Northern Alberta, and at that time, I rented a room from friends. My daily routine consisted of waking at 4:30 am, catching a bus to work by 6:30am, and returning home around 6pm. Routine was a quick meal, pack tomorrow's lunch and fall, exhausted, into bed. There was no time for me to enjoy my life.
That is all changing now.
My boyfriend and I are currently renovating a house in Whitecourt. On our frequent drives from Fort McMurray, I have taken the time to catch up on a few things, including MXI. I researched the product and became really excited when I realized how amazing it really was. I started to indulge in the product. What a wonderful feeling. I have so much energy now and am completely ecstatic about this product. Excited about my new found energy, I brought a box to work and placed on my desk. People started asking me about it, trying it and becoming interested themselves. Since then I have become engaged in the bigger picture of what this is all about and have been creating a plan B income .
On two recent trips, a total of 20 hours of driving time, I have worked with my support team, texting, emailing, calling and was amazed at the response. As a result of this concentrated effort, I am thrilled to say that I advanced to Silver . I certainly cannot take all the credit for this. I've had a lot of support.
My sponsor, Janet Hurley, who I owe this success to, has been my mentor and guardian angel.
Judy and Ian Murray have supported me from the beginning of this focused plan of action, and I am grateful for all their wisdom and guidance.
I am so happy that some of my friends and family have joined me in this remarkable adventure as well. I am gaining my life and my time back to myself, and I am grateful for that. I am meeting new people and catching up with old friends....life is good.
I still have a hectic schedule as I have Gold and Platinum in sight, but, what a fun and exciting adventure to look forward to.
Shawn loves that I am excited about something so significant and healthy and he is actively building this with me. He is so grateful as my business is building, the texting and the calling, keeps me so busy while we are on our frequent highway drives that I forget to tell him how to drive, making our time on the road far calmer and fun.
We are very serious about sharing this brilliant opportunity, as we understand that this is a win/win for everyone. We are very impressed with all aspects of this business/product/ company and the people involved, and are grateful to be a part of this great adventure. We aim for the top and want to bring many with us.

Building the business to Platinum has been an incredible journey. While I can attribute many factors to my success including hard work, determination, focus and perseverance, as I reflect on this journey, I would have to say that great leadership and strong teamwork were key.
In order to win in this business, you not only need to be a good leader, you must also be teachable and be willing to lead. I have the privilege to be mentored by two incredible leaders in Judy and Ian Murray who believed in me and allowed me to see my true potential.
