Forging Your Character

Character isn't
something you were born with and can't change, like your fingerprints.
It's something you must take responsibility for forming. You build
character by how you respond to what happens in your life, whether it's
winning every game, losing every game, getting rich or dealing with
hard times.
You build character from certain qualities that you
must create and diligently nurture within yourself, just like you would
plant and water a seed or gather wood to build a campfire. You've got
to look for those things in your heart and in your gut. You've got
to chisel away in order to find them, just like chiseling away rock to
create the sculpture that previously existed only in the imagination.
But
the really amazing thing about character is that, if you're sincerely
committed to making yourself into the person you want to be, you'll not
only create those qualities, you'll strengthen them and re-create them
in abundance, even as you're drawing on them every day of your life.
That's why building your character is vital to becoming all you can be.

SWEDEN LOVES HEALTHY CHOCOLATE!
My name is Mona Tumba and I am from Stockholm, Sweden. For the past 28 years, we have spent our winters in Florida and our summers in Sweden. I have been in the Network Marketing industry for 18 years and I've been involved in many companies. Before being introduced to XOCAI, I decided to retire from the industry because I was tired of having so much inventory of products stored in my home.
Then I met Steve and Bonnie Canesso, who introduced us to XOCAI and they talked about Healthy Chocolate. I thought they where nuts, simply because I thought that healthy chocolate didn't exist! I tasted one square and loved it, but when Steve started to talk about how diabetics can benefit, it got my attention. Our grandson is a diabetic and I went home that night and did my research and became really interested.

She is now Platinum in the business and has one of the largest groups in Sweden. This has been the most rewarding and exiting business I've been involved in.
I just came back from the Gold Fly-in in Reno. It was absolutely fantastic, and to meet all the Ambassadors and theBrooks family was such an honor. I learned so much, and I will be in Sweden for the summer and I can't wait to share what I learned with everyone. FOLLOW THE LEADER
The Qualities of Skillful Leadership by Jim Rohn
If you want to be a leader who attracts quality people,
the key is to become a person of quality yourself.
Leadership is the ability to attract someone to the gifts,
skills, and opportunities you offer as an owner, as a
manger, as a parent. I call leadership the great challenge
of life.
What's important in leadership is refining your skills.
All great leaders keep working on themselves until they
become effective. Here are some specifics:
1) Learn to be strong but not rude. It is an extra step
you must take to become a powerful, capable leader with a
wide range of reach. Some people mistake rudeness for
strength. It's not even a good substitute.
2) Learn to be kind but not weak. We must not mistake
kindness for weakness. Kindness isn't weak. Kindness is a
certain type of strength. We must be kind enough to tell
somebody the truth. We must be kind enough and considerate
enough to lay it on the line. We must be kind enough to tell
it like it is and not deal in delusion.
3) Learn to be bold but not a bully. It takes boldness to
win the day. To build your influence, you've got to walk in
front of your group. You've got to be willing to take the
first arrow, tackle the first problem, discover the first
sign of trouble.
4) You've got to learn to be humble, but not timid. You
can't get to the high life by being timid. Some people
mistake timidity for humility. Humility is almost a Godlike
word. A sense of awe. A sense of wonder. An awareness of the
human soul and spirit. An understanding that there is
something unique about the human drama versus the rest of
life. Humility is a grasp of the distance between us and the
stars, yet having the feeling that we're part of the stars.
So humility is a virtue; but timidity is a disease. Timidity
is an affliction. It can be cured, but it is a problem.
5) Be proud but not arrogant. It takes pride to win the
day. It takes pride to build your ambition. It takes pride
in community. It takes pride in cause, in accomplishment.
But the key to becoming a good leader is being proud without
being arrogant. In fact I believe the worst kind of
arrogance is arrogance from ignorance. It's when you don't
know that you don't know. Now that kind of arrogance is
intolerable. If someone is smart and arrogant, we can
tolerate that. But if someone is ignorant and arrogant,
that's just too much to take.
6) Develop humor without folly. That's important for a
leader. In leadership, we learn that it's okay to be witty,
but not silly. It's okay to be fun, but not foolish.
Lastly, deal in realities. Deal in truth. Save yourself
the agony. Just accept life like it is. Life is unique. Some
people call it tragic, but I'd like to think it's unique.
The whole drama of life is unique. It's fascinating. And
I've found that the skills that work well for one leader may
not work at all for another. But the fundamental skills of
leadership can be adapted to work well for just about
everyone: at work, in the community, and at home.

But truly, we tend to be attracted to the person who sponsors us. When it comes time for you to build YOUR business, the same principle will apply. Building this business requires becoming magnetic. It's about positioning yourself as an expert in your business, but most importantly, it's about coming from a place of enthusiasm, passion and one hundred percent conviction that what you are doing is IT!!
Until you get to that point, you will be challenged in your sponsorship process. Becoming magnetic means letting go of your doubts, limiting beliefs and fear. Think about it. If you present your business opportunity from a place of little or no enthusiasm people may sense you aren't fully convinced. If they sense that, what are the chances of them joining your business?Here's how you can become magnetic:Bring lots of value to your prospect or customer- Take the time to know more than they do about every aspect of your business and product. This means taking ownership of your business. Dedicate some time to being able to answer all questions and concerns that may arise. If you apply yourself daily you will be an expert very quickly.Be a leader- Developing leadership skills will allow you to appeal to the masses. People are hungry for inspirations and expertise on success and making their lives better. As a leader, your main focus is offering that value to everyone. When you do this, it tends to make everyone want to do business with you because you inspire and motivate them.Be aware of your image- Your image says a lot about you. And in business it says even more. If you are serious about your business you want to look sharp at all times. Appearance usually is the number one impression maker. If you want to be magnetic you want to dress for success!

Asthma & Allergies I am happy to share with you my story about my experience with XOCAI. My story is powerful because it's been life changing.
I spent most of my childhood on Prednisone. This drug along with several other steroids contributed to bone density loss in my legs, and swelling around my heart. At the age of 30, I was pre-menopausal and was told it was unlikely that I would be able to have kids.
Daily for most of my life, I've been on 5 different medications for severe Asthma and Allergies. I took
Chlor- Tripolon every day sometimes twice a day. Ventolin, Singulair, Beclifort, Pulmicort, Symbicort, Flovent, and Advair discs. All of these medications caused me to suffer from severe migraines, I sometimes suffered from migraines for as long as 3 months at a time.
The severe side effects were Bronchial Pneumonia (every winter), bone density loss, which measured to that of a 70 year old and I was hospitalized annually. Thanks to asthma, I had severe headaches and migraines weekly, IBS, skin and stomach sensitivities. I went to Costco to purchase Advil by bulk, since I was talking it regularly too.
My husband called me the "bubble girl"...lovingly, but I truly felt like I was constantly in a bubble.
I discovered the XOCAI Healthy Chocolate in January 2007 when I was in the US. As soon as it was in Canada in April 2007 I signed up right away to be an eater. I decided to become an eater, since I was busy with three other businesses and I was constantly suffering from my asthma and allergies. Soon after I signed up, I upgraded and wanted more product and became a business builder!
I ate the chocolate three times a day at the beginning and within the first couple of weeks, I began to notice that my symptoms were improving. I weaned myself off of all medications within two months. I HAVE BEEN MEDICATION FREE now SINCE JULY 2007!! My doctor can hardly believe it! During that time, I also became pregnant with our son.
The nugget has changed my life. I am now healthy and at home raising my son (who was a blessing). I work only part-time effort, for a full time income, and I am enjoying the MXI Cruises.
