A MESSAGE FROM IAN & JUDY MURRAY
We know it's tough out there. People are going through incredible financial hardships. We also know what it's like since we've been through it, but we had a strong desire to change it. We had to keep going and keep staying positive. We had to keep thinking, acting, and believing that we were already successful. We worked hard and we both knew that this was a once in a life time opportunity, failure was not an option for us.
We had to come from a position of strength, passion and belief. We had to make it happen. We had to work with a sense of urgency and a fear of loss. We worked this with extreme focus every day, because this was our future. We knew this was our way out and the days of worrying about our future, and whether we were ever going to be able to breath easily would be a thing of the past. We desperately wanted to know what it felt like to be financially free.
When I started in Direct Sales back in 1983 I had to come up with $350.00 to start my business. We didn't have two nickels to rub together, but I knew I had to come up with the money. We dug deep in our basement and sold old wedding gifts still in their boxes. We sold stuff! I believe if you want it badly enough, you will find a way. You do what you have to do. I knew I had to do it to change our financial situation.
You need to have a burning desire and an unshakable belief in you, and that this is going to work for you. If it takes you two, three or four years to achieve your financial goals, that is an incredible feat! Many people never achieve their financial goals in their lifetime! So enjoy the journey. This is a gift! An opportunity like this comes into your life, once in a lifetime.

People Don't Care How Much You Know
Until They Know How Much You Care
On Monday afternoon I was presenting a "getting started" meeting with one of our new associates and I learned the importance of being genuine and truly caring for people.
You always teach that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. The following experience certainly portrayed that. I first met this new team member last Thursday evening at a tasting I was doing. She was a guest of one of our associates, so I had not met her before. She was very keen about understanding the health benefits of the product as she has numerous health concerns. She was also very interested in learning more about the business opportunity. I spoke with her several times over the weekend and registered her on the team. During that time she had numerous questions and some objections which we addressed. She is a very smart woman, who did her due diligence prior to making any decisions During our getting started meeting she thanked me for my patience and explained to me that she had a challenged upbringing and had difficulty trusting people she didn't know well. She said since a young adolescent she relied on her instinct and intuition when meeting new people. She had a saying when meeting new people to measure their genuineness. It's "TIME WILL TELL AND FISH WILL SMELL". She said that I didn't smell. It was one of the best compliments that I've ever received. People come into this business wanting to believe that it will work for them and that they want to be part of a team with people they can trust and feel safe with. I love this business and I am so excited about my future as a leader on the Xocai team. I couldn't do it without your help.

FOLLOW THE LEADERSAs I watch distributors move forward there are two things I notice about the ones who "will" succeed and the ones who just "want"to succeed. I call them the will be's and the wanna be's. What separates the two is the difference in their abilities to be focused and coachable. When we hear the word "focus" people think it means more work or working harder. Actually it means seeing clearly "where" you want to go and then letting nothing distract you.
In this business, where you want to go is always to the next level until you are at the top. Focus on the next position and trust that your support team is there to help you with their advice. Do not try to "re-invent" the wheel. Ask yourself these questions every day: Will my team be able to duplicate this activity? Would I be happy if they did? Is this an income producing activity? Will this get me to the next rank? Am I following the advice of my support team? Be on purpose in your focus, be passionate about being coachable, DECIDE that I am a WILL BE and suddenly, through being focused and coachable you will be at the top!!!

I live on our farm with my husband of 25 years, Stan and three sons, Garrett 22, Brent 21 and Shay 17. I've worked as a School Social Worker for 27 years and love helping others. Traveling across our great state of Wyoming to our sons' sporting events has passed with a blink of an eye. I have one more year to watch my son in high school and then on to the next phase of my life - chocolate!
Last year at convention, I shared with my small group that I've felt that my chocolate business has been a God journey for me. Every time I've stumbled and slowed down, God puts another opportunity in front of me. Those opportunities have come in the friendships I have made in this business that challenge me to move ahead, no lingering!
It's given me the chance to use the skills I've developed through my work. I've always been a sponge and know that I can always learn something new. And, I'm learning from the best! Ian and Judy Murray have provided me with so much support and leadership that I know the best is yet to come. I know that I will be able to retire early from the school district and continue to capture life by giving back what has been given to me - health and wealth. I have been truly blessed all my life and the blessings just keep happening. It will happen for you in this business too, just believe!
