Creating Events
Creating events both for training and opportunities is one of the greatest ways to build camaraderie and grow your business. It is a way to also have a lot of fun and give back to your community.
Here in Saint John, N.B., Canada we are having a blast! We have regular bi-weekly training meetings. These meetings include tips on your back-office, the importance of creating a dream board, financial planning for tax purposes, and being educated on social media such as Twitter and Facebook.
We also hold regular Opportunity Events. In recent months we held an event with chocolate fondue and served hors d'oeuvres to support First Steps - a non-profit organization for homeless single pregnant young women. People came by invitation and made a donation to the cause.
Wherever there is an event - whether it's a trade show, networking event, or wine tasting. We set up a booth and network. Having signage and wearing buttons is important. It's all about brand recognition. We even put together a team for the Big Bike for The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
To celebrate the Christmas season, we held a "Come As You Will Be" party. For this party, we set our goals and envisioned we were on the 100K Journey Cruise. This party had authentic dishes, based on the Ports of Call in Europe, we wore cruise wear and played Casino games. At the end of the night, we toasted our success with Chocolate Port. It was a great night of sharing.
With the launch of Xe, we planned two events, which were held on New Year's day. Executive, Andrea Cyr dressed in only an old fashioned bathing suit and actually did the Polar Bear Dip into the Bay of Fundy ! We were there with signage, samples, ballots and all wearing some form of purple. We are currently in the editing process for our YouTube Video - Andrea made quite the splash!
Also on New Year's Day we got together to create our signature East Coast cocktail - Bay of Fundy Xebreeze

GETTING TO GOLD!The Gold Fly-In is an all-expense-paid trip for two to the Reno/Lake
Tahoe area. This event is one of our favorite reward trips because of

It's Possible!
In October of 2009, I signed up to be apart of this wonderful business of Xocai Healthy Chocolate.
Before I got involved with the chocolate, I was on medical leave dealing with depression and anxiety issues. Mary McMillan, a long time friend had introduced this opportunity to me when I was at my worst. At the time, I had no interest. As weeks went by, I started to feel much better and I couldn't stop thinking about the chocolate. I contacted Mary and came into the business.
On a Sunday evening, I received a phone call from Nancy Fazakas, who is Mary's upline. Nancy told me that I would be able to achieve Executive status by sponsoring 4 more people. However, this had to happen by the next night!!
I told her there was no way this could happen. That night, I was having computer glitches and technical problems. I became frustrated with the issues we were having with my computer and with the combination of signing up a lot of people within a short time frame. I became very impatient. Nancy was very supportive through it all. We persevered through technical issues with my computer and we did it!
I am VERY grateful that Nancy stuck by me, helping me through all the glitches, calming me down, and giving me faith to carry on. For this reason, I achieved Executive status in a VERY short time. Thank you again Nancy!
In regards to my health, Xocai has helped me tremendously. I am off ALL medication for my condition. With all the wonderful amino acids, vitamins and minerals in this chocolate, it helps me. These are essential for good brain health. This chocolate helps me stay in a healthy state and I am so grateful for it. Thank you!

T.E.A.M. Together Everyone Achieves More. I have seen, heard and read this abbreviation many times. What a great concept and to find a company that supports this would be amazing. My husband and I have a couple of home based service business that we have built and are proud of. We continue to work at providing great services and trade our time for money. If we want more money we have to work more hours. If we stop working, there is no income.
When Lorraine Gambacourt introduced the Xoçai opportunity to me, my husband and I thought what a great concept. The product being a consumable was very appealing and the fit for us to be able to build a residual income and eventually have more than just trading time for money was very exciting.
As our Xoçai team started to grow, the T.E.A.M. concept kept coming back to me.
In August 2009 our team was really gaining momentum and with those efforts, I became a Bronze Executive with MXI. At the end of September 2009 during the 2 for 1 Toronto, Ontario, Canada Event, I was very excited to walk across the stage to be awarded my Bronze Executive pin from Janette Brooks, Andrew Brooks and Dan Martin. With the motivation and great momentum in our team, the hard work and efforts of many other distributors, I walked across the stage at noon on Saturday to receive my Bronze pin and by 11:38pm on Sunday night, my Silver Executive Status was achieved. Again, Lorraine's amazing support paid off. I am so thankful and at times very overwhelmed emotionally that MXI put a concept and compensation plan in place that allows people who truly "want it" to be able to achieve whatever their goals desire.
Thank you to MXI, my sponsor Lorraine Gambacourt and my entire upline. Thank you to our amazing team that consistently comes together to challenge themselves and reach out to others, I have put my next set of goals in place and know that together they will be achieved. It is very exciting living the true meaning of T.E.A.M. Together Everyone Achieves More.
