Sony and Sixth Avenue Electronics ignite "hope for a promising future" for YCS summer campers
with the help of John Starks and WPLJ
February 19th: Visitors flocked to the Sixth Avenue Electronics store in Paramus for a chance to win valuable Sony products and meet former NY basketball star John Starks. Thanks to a week long promotion on WPLJ radio and the talents of DJ Race Taylor many new people were introduced to YCS and its mission. Others came to show their appreciation for the work YCS does.

The event culminated with the presentation of a check to YCS President Richard Mingoia for $30,000 by Sixth Avenue CEO Mike Temiz and Sony senior VP Paul Spitale for the
summer camp program.
