Dear , It is hard to believe that summer is coming to a close and we are about to start a new school year. Our children have been busy with camp, activities and hosting many extraordinary campus visitors. As we complete this busy season and turn our thoughts toward starting another school year, we wanted to provide you with an update about our great summer. I know you understand the help we provide children is life changing and important. During these challenging economic times, the number of children and families seeking our help is on the rise. We will always provide for as many children as our resources will allow, but we are challenged by having more children in need of our assistance than we can serve. Your support of our efforts with these special children matters more than we can put into words, and we appreciate your faith and confidence as we do this work together.
Warmest Regards,
Kevin M. McDonald |

Houston Outreach Ministry Character Camp
On June 11th, Arms of Hope Outreach Ministry hosted a Character Camp for over 100 youth football players and cheerleaders in Inner-City Houston. The attendees learned about character traits, including honesty and integrity, while learning football and cheerleading skills. Camp participants received a free lunch and medals at the end of camp. Arms of Hope wishes to thank Northland Christian School for making this event a blessing for these kids. They provided transportation from their school to bring football players, cheerleaders, coaches and parents to volunteer for this fun day. A special thanks to Jameel Cook, former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and Houston Texan, for all of his hard work as a volunteer! Click here for photos. San Antonio Character Camp
