Implant Study Club

Have you ever wanted to learn how to drive a car on a racetrack? Want to know more about Implants? With the help of Dr. Duane Starr, we have found a way to offer both!
OAGD is always looking for ways to provide quality education and a great experience for our members. We approached Dr. Starr to share his knowledge about Implants and his passion for car racing into one fun weekend.
Dr. Starr believes that in using our avocation to help dentists with our vocation. On Friday, he will be providing a 4 hour lecture on Implants with case presentations, connecting Implants to the art and science of car racing. Then the group will be on the racetrack on Saturday, with a planned 3 hours of driving in rotations with 1 to 1 instruction. The goal is to rotate participants through a variety of cars, from V8 rear wheel drive to front wheel drive 4 cylinder cars (Honda to a Mustang).
There has been a cancellation at the racetrack on August 20, 2011 so we have been given the opportunity to run this course at a great price reduction to our members.
Lecture Course Objectives
- Learn the basic Implant protocols for success.
- Learn the importance of site preparation for implant success.
