Christmas Events at Chavagnes
Dear friends,

Here are the details of forthcoming events at Chavagnes International College in the last few weeks of term before the Christmas holidays. We hope that some of our friends will be able to join us at the end of term.
Boy Bishop Chavagnes
Sunday 6th December: Vespers for St Nicholas, celebrated by the 'Boy Bishop' of Chavagnes (6pm).

This is an ancient medieval tradition, revived annually at Chavagnes since 2003.  The Boy Bishop pontificates at  olemn Vespers for the Feast of St Nicholas, patron of choirboys, and then  resides at Dinner. After which he usually follows tradition by decreeing that the Masters should do the washingup, giving permission to the boys to stay up late and watch a film.)
