Dear friends,

 

I have just heard that Kevin Sinnott's body has been found after a swimming accident near the university where he was studying in Georgia.

 

He was a very sensitive and intelligent young man with a keen sense of justice and fair play: perhaps that is what made him, while at Chavagnes, an energetic and gifted sportsman as well as a much respected prefect. He was also a hard worker who gave of his best academically.

 

Kevin was a young man with a deep faith and had been to confession on the day of his death. He is going to be sorely missed by his family and friends, for whom he will continue to be an inspiring example.

 

Please pray for Kevin's soul and for his grieving family.
