How did we get here?

Seattle BioMed staff come from all over the world, and it's common to hear many different languages spoken in our offices and labs. "How did we wind up at Seattle BioMed?" you ask. One common answer is training. Seattle BioMed's training programs serve high school students to postdoctoral scientists and attract local talent from Seattle to people in India, Africa and beyond.

Our training programs continue to grow. Postdoctoral scientists recently started the Ph.D.-M.D. Association (PMA), an organization of peer researchers that provides networking, career development and social opportunities for scientists who hold advanced degrees but are still in an early stage in their career.
