In National Public Radio's Morning Edition story about Seattle's booming global health industry, Seattle BioMed founder Ken Stuart talked about his pioneering role in creating one of the city's first infectious disease research organizations, from building his own lab benches in the1970s to running a state-of-the-art institute of more than 300 employees today.
