A Letter From Santa
A very Happy New Year to you! Now that Mrs. Claus and I have had time to
 | | Elf Cary and Elf Harvey sharing The Elf Magic Story |
sit back and reflect over the past year, we are more thankful than ever for your friendship! It warms our hearts to know that you are enjoying and sharing our Timeless Christmas Tradition in your homes. From the stories the
Elves have told us, it sounds like it was truly one of their best Christmas "vacations" ever!
It may be hard to believe, but life at the North Pole has been busy since Christmas. We had an awesome Snow Ball and Dinner Dance hosted by Mrs. Claus. Elf Sherry, our Social Editor, will be sharing all of the delightful details of the evening. Don't miss this exciting report! Another fun event, the Annual Reindeer Games,
held us all on the edge of our seats! Elf Malone, the SNN Sports Reporter, will give you all of the results of this outstanding competition.
 | | Cleaning the Workshop |
Although our workdays are not as long as they were in December, we have been cleaning up and cleaning out the workshop! Mrs. Claus, once again, made a New Year's resolution of "out with the old and in with the new." The Elves have been happily gathering the retired items and and putting them in Santa's Sleigh. Once again we will offer the "Santa's Sleigh Specials"! Look for details on the "Specials" in the report by Elf Patricia, our SNN's "Bargain Hunter" reporter.
The Elf-a-Razzi Photo Contest was a huge success. We so enjoyed seeing all of the pictures you sent. I can see why the Elves enjoyed themselves so much. Elf Vanessa, our Art Critic, will be giving a report on the contest winners.
The new year looks merry and bright as we continue to take pleasure in the Timeless Traditions of Elf Magic. Don't keep the fun all to yourself. Forward this email to your friends or share Elf Magic with them on Facebook, Twitter and You Tube.
May you find the magic of Christmas in your everyday!

Elves are invited to walk the Peppermint Carpet to attend the "North Pole Rock Star" Celebration!
By ELF SHERRY SNN Social Editor
Mrs. Claus is certainly known for her entertaining talents. Each year she plans the "Snow Ball Dinner and Dance" to celebrate the Elves' return from their Christmas vacation in your homes! This event is not only a "Homecoming" celebration but a New Year's celebration as well since it is annually held on New Year's Eve.
There was great excitement when this year's theme for the "Snow Ball and Dinner Dance" was announced! The Elves were invited to dress in their snazziest evening clothes and walk the Red and White "Peppermint Cane" Carpet to the "North Pole Rock Star" celebration. You can imagine how the Elf-a-Razzi was out in force snapping photo after photo of the Elves arriving at the celebration.
The delicious dinner was planned by Mrs. Claus and prepared by Chef "Extraordinaire" Frost. At the end of the meal, the dynamic duo surprised each Elf with their very own star shaped, ice cream cupcake. Each Elf got to decorate their own cupcake with every kind of sprinkle you can imagine! So Cool!

The Elf Magic Band gets ready to release two new songs.
|
DJ Elf Colin, from WTOY, the North Pole radio station, invited the Elves to take turns with the karaoke machine, singing their favorite songs, while the other Elves joined in the dancing. Elf Zac got the night started by singing a rock and roll version of "Work, Work, Work, Play, Play, Play" off of the Elf Magic CD. Elf Ross then thrilled the crowd by singing Justin Bieber's hit single, "Baby." Elf Melinda had the crowd up and really moving when she sang,"Shake It Off" by Selena Gomez. During the evening, DJ Elf Colin also played two new Elf Magic songs, "Magic Reindeer" and "The Reindeer Games Theme Song," soon to be released by the Elf Magic Band. The highlight of the evening, however, was Santa singing "Big Night" by the Big Time Rush Band, while star shaped confetti fell from the ceiling.
Just when the Elves thought the night could not get any better, at midnight everyone counted down to the New Year as a giant, lit-up snow ball was dropped. The Snow Ball Dinner and Dance really "Rocked" for everyone!
As the evening came to a close, the Elves, hugged and proclaimed, "they were all very thankful for another year of love, adventure and togetherness."

Reindeer Games
By ELF MALONE
SNN Sports Reporter
After a delightful time dancing the night away on New Year's Eve, the Elf athletes, joined by the Reindeer,
 | | Everyone getting ready for The Reindeer Games! |
participated in the Reindeer Games. This annual event always brings out sports fans from all over the North Pole. For those who could not attend the live event, ESPM (Elf Sports Pro Magic) broadcast the Games live in rich HDTV. Many Elves set their DVR's to record the broadcast so they could watch it again.
 | | Elf Jack wants to make sure Vixon looks his best during the games |
The events this year included the Polar Bear Plunge, Sleigh Pulling, Relay Races, Six-Legged Race, Dance-Off, Hula Hooping, Limbo, Hurdles and the Snow Ball Toss. The participants trained all year long for this exciting competition. It was so refreshing to see the Elves and Reindeer who had prepared well, compete with such confidence and support and encourage each other with such enthusiasm! Santa sure was proud of the good sportsmanship shown on the field during the games.
Since the Reindeer Games began three years ago, there have been some very close competitions. The 2010 winners were Donner and Elf Roxanne and the 2011 winners were Blitzen and Elf Charley. We proudly announce that the 2012 winners were Comet, for the Reindeer and Elf Nate, for the Elves. While all of the Reindeer and Elves did their best to train and prepare for the games, it was evident that Comet and Elf Nate had gone above and beyond. While other Reindeer turned in after a long day of work, Comet would often be seen running up and down the streets pulling a sleigh as he prepared for the races. His hard work certainly paid off as he took top honors in the Sleigh Pull, the Six-Legged Race, the Polar Bear Plunge and the Snow Ball Toss contests! Elf Nate was magnificent in the Hurdles, the Hula Hoop, the Limbo and the Christmas Carol Dance-Off. Whew! Everyone was amazed at how limber he was to be able to glide over the Hurdles and bend so low during the Limbo. He kept going strong during the Candy Cane Hula Hoop contest and the Christmas Carol Dance-Off! I'm sure it was the extra hours he spent stretching and dancing that helped him compete with such ease.
For their victories, Comet was awarded a lifetime membership to Rudolph's Gym and a month of sleeping by Santa's fireplace (which is always lit). Elf Nate was given a certificate stating that he would be Santa's co-pilot in the sleigh next year on Christmas Eve! Nate was also granted an extra week off of work this spring to visit his family, the Smiths. Well Done, Comet and Nate!
