| A Letter from Santa
The Christmas Countdown is on!
Where did the time go? I just wished most of my Elf Magic Elves "safe travels" and now, in less than two weeks, we will be reunited to deliver gifts to children all over the world!
After the elves and I spent nearly an entire year making toys for all of the boys and girls, I am happy to report they are almost completely finished! Remember, if your elf hasn't arrived yet, its OK. Be patient, there is still time! You must remember I can't get ready for Christmas Eve with just Mrs. Claus. I need some extra help to get the toys loaded
into the sleigh and get my Magic Reindeer prepared for the upcoming journey.
The elves who stay at the North Pole to help me finish making the toys usually get special
permission to remain a little past Christmas in your home. Some elves have been allowed to stay until school begins again, while others return to the North Pole in time for the "Snow Ball Dinner and Dance," our annual North Pole New Year's Eve party! Every elf, however, has to be back in time to prepare for our favorite North Pole event, the "Reindeer Games" in January.
Remember to leave out the "For My Elf" cup and plate set with crackers and water, and an elf should arrive soon to make memories with you!
I hear of many elves who are having the time of their lives with their families! Thank you for sending me reports about all of my beloved elves. I have listed many of their latest Elfcapades on my favorite website! I am including some of our favorites in this edition of SNN!
Mrs. Claus just loves the new Elf Magic Tee Shirt featured on my favorite website! She was wearing her new shirt last night as we sat by the roaring fire, sipping our hot cocoa.
I love to stay connected to my elves while they are visiting their families. Please remember to continue sharing your elves' adventures with me on our Facebook, Twitter, Flickr or YouTube pages. You can post stories and pictures about your elf's visit and share them not only with me, but with other Elf Magic families, too!
As we get closer to Christmas Eve, the remaining elves are completing their jobs, packing
their bags, and heading out to visit families all over the globe! If you know someone who would love Elf Magic forward SNN to your family and friends! And, if you don't want to receive future editions of SNN, just click the 'SafeUnsubscribe' link at the bottom.
I hope that you find the magic of Christmas in your everyday!

Arts Roundup: Elf Magic music video, "Getting Things Ready," debuts; Santacam goes live, catching Elf mischief!
By ELF VANESSA
SNN Elf News, Arts Critic
The elves were busy in 2009! Not only did they find time to help Santa prepare for Christmas, go to school, contribute to the community and spend time with their families, the elves over at Polar Productions also recorded four catchy new songs and launched
their debut album. " Getting Things Ready," the first song from the album, which highlights some of the elves' jobs in the toy shop, earned so much airplay on WTOY,the North Pole Radio station, the elves decided to make a music video! Click here to view "Getting Things Ready," which includes a sneak peek into Santa's never-before-seen toy shop and shows that the elves not only have a talent for wrapping presents, but also for rapping!
Santa knows better than anyone else at the North Pole just how playful and adventurous his Elf Magic elves are! Last month, Santa caught the elves having a snowball fight -while they were supposed to be training the baby reindeer. Rather than get upset, Santa thought it would be funny for Elf Magic families to see what really goes on when the elves are home at the North Pole. He asked Elf Tom to turn on the "Santacam," a hidden camera, to capture all of the elves' antics! Have you seen the latest from the Santacam?
Remember, you can always share your Elf Magic experiences through Facebook;
Twitter; Flickr; YouTube or by e-mailing the North Pole at

Elf Magic Memories Reported from Families Across the Country
By ELF ZAC
SNN, Senior Editor
We cannot believe how many letters Santa has gotten regarding the Elfcapades taking place all over the country! Leave it to the Elf Magic elves to keep their families on their toes and give children a special treat to look forward to every morning when they awake!
Many of the elves treated their families to our latest book, "Elf Magic Memories: A Keepsake Journal of our Timeless Christmas Tradition." It has everything families need to preserve their special memories of Christmas with Elf Magic.
Here are some of Santa's favorites:
Denver, Colorado:
"The other night our elves made a campfire, roasting mini marshmallows on toothpicks. When it started to snow, the elves snuggled into their Snowflake Sleeping Bags, clad in their adorable (and warm) plaid Night Shirt and Slippers. Children woke up in the morning not only to a fresh layer of snow, but also to see an Elf Magic campsite with gram crackers and chocolate bar wrappers strewn about. The elves ate nearly a whole bag of marshmallows!"
Bangor, Maine:
"We have two elves that are very good at making things out of play dough. This year, the boys woke up to a giant snowman made from white play dough with glitter. Where in the world did they get the play dough? They must have brought it with them from the North
Pole."
Los Angeles, California:
"We woke up Sunday morning to find our elves had made a cake and written on it was "Happy Birthday Jesus." They used the entire jar of sprinkles and set out the Happy Birthday Jesus Nativity set as a special gift for the entire family to remember the true meaning of Christmas. The elves had opened the Bible to Luke 2 and were reading the Christmas story when they were found."
Manassas, Virginia:
"What a mess! Our elves love to build forts during the night. We couldn't believe our eyes when we walked into the kitchen and every food can and cereal box from the pantry was stacked into a huge, gigantic fort! The elves were inside, asleep."
Burnsville, Minnesota:
"We love our elves! They can be so crazy! We got out of bed this morning and saw dog treats all over our den. The whole box had been emptied and many of them had been eaten. Several of our kitchen chairs were turned over on their sides and in a straight line. My
little brother finally figured out what they elves were up to - they were trying to train our dogs how to fly! I guess they miss the reindeer so much, they wanted to turn our dogs into Magical Reindeer!
Carlsbad, New Mexico:
"Even with the rough times of a limited Christmas budget, our elves have made the season a time of remembering that it isn't about the things we give or receive, but about the birth of Christ and how he gave up his life for ours. Our elves help to keep the spirit of God in our hearts and lives. When they arrived Thanksgiving we were all challenged by them as a family to memorize the Christmas story, Luke 2:8-14. Well this has been so very special, even our 4-year-old can recite the entire story. What an incredible experience! When we all had it memorized our elves rewarded us with a gift "Made by the Elves at the North Pole"... a Nativity painted and molded by the elves!!! The poem that came with it was written by the elves and when the children saw the figures of the two elves praying they were overcome with joy. Thank you for making many Christmas magical memories for our family!!!"
Luke 2:8-14: "And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."
Macomb, Michigan:
"Today we woke up to find every plant in our house decorated with tinsel for Christmas! We know the elves did it because we found them asleep on top of a pile of tinsel. It was so
pretty, a North Pole Winter Wonderland!"
Baltimore, Maryland:
"We found our elves in the car yesterday morning. They had typed "North Pole" into the GPS! They didn't get very far though. The car battery was dead because they had left the light and radio on in the car. Oops!"
Charlotte, North Carolina:
"We looked and looked everywhere for our elves today and finally found them by our pool. They were asleep on the cutest Christmas washcloths. They left a note saying they wanted
to catch some moon rays and go for a late night swim. The cold water didn't bother them at all because they are so used to the cold. The "Polar Plunge" is one of their favorite events at the Reindeer Games. The washcloths they brought with them were the cutest! They left a note saying "Wet the small little package and a wash cloth 'magically' explodes."
Aburndale, Florida:
"Down here in Florida we never get any snow, so our elves had a snow (cotton) ball fight one night! Cotton balls were all over our den. We counted 10empty bags that they used in this fight. The den looked like it was covered in real snow!"
NOTE:
While Elf Sherri is with her family, there will be no "North Pole News Flurries." Look for this popular column to return in January when she returns to the North Pole! Elf Malone will also be back to give his report on the outcome of the highly anticipated Reindeer Games!!!
