| A Letter from Santa
Wow!! Are we really this close to Christmas? We must be because the Elf Magic Elves have been in a flurry of movement the past few weeks. After wrapping up a fun Halloween at the North Pole (Elf Sherry has all the latest in her column), the elves are making sure their passports are up-to-date and are anxiously awaiting their departure from the North Pole to your home!
Have you had a chance to view our newest additions to Elf Magic? Don't forget, earlier this year the elves announced new boy and girl elves joined their family. Have you had a chance to see how adorable they are? There's also the "Elf Magic Memories" scrapbook to capture all of the special holiday memories spent with your elf this Christmas season. If you haven't visited my favorite website, you must! Elf Magic has a new treat for families - special, newly designed Elf Magic Tee Shirts for children, and children at heart! Inspired by the Elf Magic tradition, these whimsically designed shirts are sure to put a smile on everyone's face this Christmas!
I don't know where the elves find the time, but after breakfast with Mrs. Claus the other day, I arrived at the toy shop to find pumpkins and gourds decorating our snowy front steps! The elves sure do like to decorate for the holidays! I can't wait to see what they do for Christmas before they head to their host families' homes! Sometimes I think the elves practice their Elfcapades at the North Pole in preparation for their visits to your homes! Just yesterday an elf covered the entire gift wrapping room with red and white stripped candy canes to surprise his friend for his birthday!
Have you been keeping track of your elf? You can stay up-to-date on many of the elves' North Pole adventures, view photos and more by going to our Facebook or Twitter pages.
As we get closer to the elves' visits, please remember - if you know someone who loves Elf Magic (or would love Elf Magic) forward SNN to your family and friends! And, if you don't want to receive future editions of SNN, just click the 'SafeUnsubscribe' link at the bottom.

Elfcapade antics on the rise as Christmas draws closer
By ELF FRASER
SNN Elf News, Travel Correspondent
Apparently, Santa gave many Elf Magic elves special permission to visit their host families a little early this season. We've heard many reports of some wonderfully fun Elfcapades recently, especially centered around Halloween!
A little girl in Texas wrote a letter telling me all about her elf's Halloween nighttime adventure. She and her elf trick-or-treated through her Austin neighborhood, gathering candy in a Christmas pillowcase. Well, after collecting all of the loot, she went to bed and sprinkled her elf with North Pole Snowflakes. When she awoke the next morning, candy wrappers were littered from her bedroom down to the kitchen and out the front door, where she found her elf, hiding in a bush with even more Halloween candy!
Another child wrote us from Delaware sharing his elf's recent Elfcapade. "The night before Halloween my Mommy and Daddy and I put out my costume (I was going as a super hero)," he writes. "I went to sleep very excited to wear my costume to school the next morning. When I woke up, there was my elf, wearing my costume!! I thought he took mine and shrunk it so it would fit him, but really he had his own costume and we went to my school's costume parade as matching super heroes. It was so much fun!"
Don't forget - if you have a story you would like to share, be sure to fill out the form on Santa's favorite website. We always enjoy reading your Elfcapade stories! We love to share them with everyone at the North Pole! There are many ways you can share stories with us - you can become a fan on Facebook; follow our Tweets on Twitter; upload photos of your elves on Flickr; or e-mail the North Pole at ElfMail@Elf-Magic.com. We are always looking for families to share their Elf Magic stories with the local news, too, so if you have a story about your elf you want to share, visit Elf Magic and tell us about it! You never know ... you and your elf could end up on the 5 o'clock news!

North Pole Hockey League off to an exciting start
By ELF MALONE
SNN Sports Reporter
When the elves aren't in school, studying and doing their homework, helping Santa in the toy shop or doing good deeds at the North Pole, they are active in the North Pole Hockey League (NPHL), which broadcasts live on Elf Sports Pro Magic, also known as ESPM! The season just started and the elves are having a blast!
The other night, Team Polar Bear faced off against Team Igloo, which ended in a tie. While Elf Baylor was able to get a puck in off Elf Polly's goalie pads for the Polar Bears, Elf Nellie responded quickly, shooting the puck into the top right corner of Igloo's net before the Polar Bears' goalie, Watson, could respond.
MVPs for the game were actually two of the newcomers to the North Pole, Elf Baylor and Elf Nellie. The NPHL is an exclusive Elf Magic league and splits the teams by North Pole neighborhoods. Following a mid-season break for the elves to return to their host families, the action picks up again in January, following the Reindeer Games, a favorite event of all elves at the North Pole.

Sleeping Bags and travel accessories fly off the shelves at Luggage & Things
By ELF ZAC SNN Elf News, Senior Editor As the elves prepare for their upcoming visits to their host families, Luggage & Things is looking ahead to the 2010 holiday season. Elf Joanna, lead designer for next year's holiday travel accessories, has already started to develop luggage and passport holders!
"There are so many lovely options I am creating," says Elf Joanna. "Many elves are submitting their own designs for consideration."
Of course, Santa will make the final decision. "We cannot wait to see the new designs for next year," says Elf Jillian, Head of Elf Travel, who works at the store. "The elves can rest assured, next season's travel options will include the latest from the Elf Magic design house and will be functional and look great."
Luggage & Things has already told Santa he will need to make sure
the elves make plenty of suitcases and travel products in preparation for the
2010 Christmas season.
"Stay tuned," she says. "The elves are going to love the new 2010 designs!"

North Pole News Flurries!By ELF SHERRY SNN Social Reporter
We hear...
... On Halloween, Elf Lorelei spent her evening spooking her fellow trick-or-treaters as they walked up to her cottage for candy. Rather than answering her door in typical Halloween fashion, Elf Lorelei dressed as a scarecrow, sitting on a rocking chair. As elves approached her front door, she would jump up from the chair and scream "Boo!," prompting the trick-or-treaters to shriek in delight (and a little bit of fear).
... In other Halloween news, Elf Galloway spent Halloween day in the kitchen, preparing special caramel popcorn balls for elves visiting his home. He was overheard telling friends that the treat was a favorite of his host family and he had prepared them during his visit in 2008. He plans to take photos and put them in the " Elf Magic Memories" scrapbook.
... Elf Magnolia was recently seen doing a good deed. She was spending time with elder elves, playing the piano and starting a Christmas Carol sing-a-long with the group. According to my sources, not only did Elf Magnolia have a blast, but so did the elder elves, who said the sing-a-long was the highlight of their week!
... I heard that Elf Hope and Elf Gage are preparing a special Elf Magic nativity scene for the play "Happy Birthday Jesus" to illustrate the birth of Baby Jesus, which will be performed the night before the elves depart for their host homes. Word is the entire North Pole Village is looking forward to the show. It always brings in the crowds. Elf Anita, the art instructor, has crafted the set and many elves plan to bring them when they visit their families as a special gift to remind them of the true meaning of Christmas.
... Elf Wilder recently visited the North Pole Reindeer Farm and adopted his very own Magic Reindeer. He promised he would feed, walk, train and teach it to play fetch and other games every day. He is really excited to spend time with his new friend. He's done such a good job training the reindeer, he is even going to bring it with him to his host family for the Christmas season. Maybe your elf can adopt a reindeer, too!
