A Letter from Santa

The excitement here at the North Pole is overflowing as we get closer to Christmas! With less than four months until I deliver presents to boys and girls around the world, my Elf Magic Elves are already marking their calendars to pack their suitcases and surprise their special host families! Just the other day, Elf Sherry merrily informed me there are fewer than 100 days until she gets to spend time with her family!

We have so much to share with you in this month's St. Nick's News, we can hardly contain ourselves! We've been really busy at the North Pole!

I've read your letters, and understand there are times you'd like your elf to dress up, which is why the Elf Magic Fashion House has designed a pretty new dress for the girls! The Elf Magic Snowflake Princess Dress is perfect for Sunday church, Christmas parties, and any other extra-special occasions!

You can also enjoy the memories your elves created during their visit with a new journal, called "Elf Magic Memories." The journal is your very own, special keepsake that helps you capture memories with your elf! From photos to stories to stickers, now there is a book where families can keep and share those wonderful memories!

And guess what? More Elf Magic elves can visit you this Christmas! New boy and girl elves recently came to the North Pole, and we have great news - they are here to stay and spread the joy of Christmas to even more families this year. And two of them are new reporters for St. Nick's News!

I mentioned in the last SNN that my in-box was overflowing. Following the last issue, it is even more full! You like us ... you really like us! We can't believe how many readers e-mailed us to share their joy in receiving SNN! It makes me feel so jolly that this newsletter makes it a little more fun for you to check your e-mail! Thank you!

I get a lot of letters myself, so I know what it's like to have a full mailbox every time you open it! Exciting additions to Elf Magic in 2009 will mean more memories and more excitement for children and families this Christmas!

When kids - and even some grown-ups! - start writing letters to Santa, they might ask for these, too! Mark your calendars to visit Santa's Favorite Web Site in September so Santa can fulfill as many wishes as possible for these adorable new Elf Magic friends, the Elf Magic Snowflake Princess Dress and the "Elf Magic Memories" journal!

Santa can't promise every child will receive everything he or she asks for on their wish list - but he can promise he'll try his hardest to make sure every child has the best Christmas possible!

New Elf Friends Appear at North Pole!
New elves have arrived at the North Pole! These boy and girls elves lived in a southern village for many years. When they heard about Santa's Elf Magic tradition, they packed their suitcases and moved to the North Pole to be a part of it!

We've never seen elves quite like these before ... they all have black hair and light skin tones. Each one is regular elf height (10 inches tall!), and all the new girls have very stylish bobbed haircuts, and all the boys have cool crew cuts!

The other elves are very excited for new friends to join the fun! They've already been swapping Elfcapade ideas, so we expect these girls and boys will be well prepared for their journey!

Make a Statement with New Elf Magic Fashion!
The new elegant, tea-length Elf Magic Snowflake Princess Dress, made of satin and overlaid in lace that appears to be dusted in snowflakes, includes six colorful, interchangeable satin bows in red, pink, yellow, green, white and black. Girl elves are ready to make a surprise appearance at almost any special occasion year round, from Christmas parties to Valentine's Day to Easter to First Communion!

Keep Elf Magic Memories with Your Keepsake Journal!
You have plenty of family photos with your Elf friends - maybe even letters and special mementos from your magical elf visits! Your family can cherish those memories forever with the new "Elf Magic Memories," a scrapbook-style journal that helps families record photos and stories about their elf experiences into one beautiful book! This special Christmas archive can be passed down from your generation to the next!

Don't forget! Visit visit Santa's Favorite Web Site in September!

Readers are telling us their elves have been making all types of surprise visits!

Ten-year-old Michael's elf made a surprise visit on his birthday this year! Elf Eli showed up at the front desk of the resort Michael was visiting with a balloon in hand! Elf Eli even rode all the exciting rides with Michael as they toured the theme park!

Madison wrote her elf, Tammie, to see if she would bring her whole elf family to visit this Christmas! Maybe she will be able to take her family with her ... or maybe even a friend!

And Emily wrote us to say that last Christmas her magic elf, Townsend, left behind a Pocket Elf under her nightstand so she sees him every morning first thing when she wakes up! She also told us she was excited to be going to the movies with her best friend Amelia - and a magic elf visits Amelia every Christmas, too!

The elves love hearing from you! You can talk to the elves a lot of different ways! Join our official Elf Magic fan page on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, friend us on Flickr ... or even send an e-mail to elfmail@elf-magic.com! The elves are very busy getting ready for Christmas, so they can't respond to every note they receive ... but they do read them and love to know their families are thinking about them all year!
Santa Seeks his Most Enthusiastic Elf Magic Families!

By ELF FRASER
SNN Travel Correspondent

Santa is a very popular guy - reporters call him all the time looking to write stories and do TV shows about his magic elves! Santa is very busy getting ready for Christmas, and he asked me to find the most enthusiastic Elf Magic families in America! We found some great families last year, like the one featured here.

Do you get so excited around Christmas that you can barely sit still waiting for your elf to arrive? Does your magic elf bring an annual tradition to your family that makes the memories more special? Have the elves brought you more Christmas joy and excitement, right when you needed it?

If you could imagine seeing your family's Elf Magic traditions featured in a local newspaper, on a TV program or on Santa's Favorite Web Site, click here to tell Santa your story! Santa receives a lot of e-mail and letters - especially now as boys' and girls' Christmas wish lists are already rolling in - so he can't reply to everybody! But he has some special elf helpers who might call you back to learn more about your Elf Magic story!

We hear...

... School's back in session!! On the first day back at school, Elf Nina was so excited that she made gingerbread cookies for her entire class! But, she forgot the milk to accompany the treats, so, always the problem-solver, Elf Garrett went outside with a bucket and started gathering snow. Once it melted, everyone washed down their homemade cookies with some freshly melted North Pole Snowflakes!

snowflake princess dress... Forever Elf at the North Pole Mall cannot keep the Snowflake Princess Dresses on the racks! Since their debut during the North Pole Fashion Week, the dresses have been in high demand. The last dress barely made it home in one piece! Elf Amelia and Elf Jillian both went to buy it at the same moment, which resulted in a tug-of-war between the two. Luckily, Mrs. Claus was there to settle the debate over who saw the dress first. While Elf Jillian was spotted taking the dress home, Elf Ameila was overheard talking to Mrs. Claus about how the two would share the dress - she gets to wear it next week!

... More elves have been posing for pictures lately! With the new journal available, elves all around the North Pole have been snapping photos so they can put them in their journals! Some of them are talking about posting them to their Facebook pages ... has your elf posted any photos yet on Elf Magic's Facebook Fan page? Be sure to check and see!

... The new elves who have joined Elf Magic were recently welcomed to their new home with a party! All of the elves, reindeer and Santa and Mrs. Claus attended! There was even a surprise performance by Elf Zoie and Elf Dylan as they performed their own rendition of their favorite Elf Magic song, "Believe in the Magic," with Elf Benny and Elf Polly playing the bells. Needless to say, they received a standing ovation!
