D-Box Motion Seating has come to the Chinese Theater and is available for your home theater.
D-Box Motion Control seating can be experienced at the Chinese 6 Theater Complex when you see "Fast and Furious" from Universal Pictures. The Chinese 6 has installed fifteen D-Box seats in one of the digital auditoriums. Reserved seats are available from the box office. D-Box adds an incredible effect to the film's action scenes. Please note it is not "amusement park" extreme motion but more subtle. The Chinese Theater's seats have a "volume" control for the motion. We noted that while many filmgoers started in the middle setting, all were on "high" at the end.

 Easily access your iPods, navigate your
playlists, view music cover art, and
manage your music from any Control4
on-screen or touch-screen interface.
This new iDock works with your iPhone, iTouch or iPod. That iPhone or iTouch can also operate your Control4 system when not playing music with a Control4/Apple license available from Horizon.

The Digital TV transition is (again) almost upon us
 This is worth a quick repeat: If you have cable TV, contact your cable provider about any
additional components, like a digital set-top box, that you
may need to watch digital broadcast programming. Some cable providers do send digital signals to the newest TVs for some local channels. If all of your TVs are on satellite, you are ready. Dave's Corner
Hi and thank you for reading our newsletter.
We know that everyone doesn't want to sit in a dark room to watch TV and movies. So we also feature multi room music systems using your iPod, Rhapsody "on demand" music and, of course, your CDs. We offer easy ways to control all of these.
For those who do like to absorb the full experience including dark rooms, last week we went to the Arclight Hollywood to see "Monsters and Aliens" in 3D. The presentation was great with new 3D glasses. No headaches if you tilted your head for a while. The only question is why it did not include D-Box seating? We can only hope!
Can you have 3D for your Home Theater? You will have to wait until a home system standard is finalized. The industry understands we can't have competing systems like HD DVD versus Blu-ray. While we wait, please remember that AV systems with high definition images, Dolby and DTS audio, subwoofers and larger screens still bring a tremendous experience home now. Pricing on 42, 50 and 52" LCD or plasma TVs has never been lower. There is nothing like a 100" plus screen. All you need is a projector and a room you can darken. And don't forget the D-Box seats!
If you don't have great HD images yet on your present TV perhaps all you need is DirecTV. DirecTV now offers over 130 of the best HD channels, more than cable. We carry the latest HD DVRs.
Blu-ray players are again available as the industry backlog catches up. The newest Samsung models can download Netflix On Demand movies. Sony's newest models with Netflix are coming in June. Remember that these need a high speed Internet connection. Horizon Install Group has the latest routers and networking devices for your information ready home.
