Dear Friends,
Over the past few months you've been hearing from us about the American Dream video contest where we asked Americans with disabilities to create a video that tells the story of their American Dream and how they are working toward that dream. Sixty people shared their stories with us and you've shared your support. We are glad to finally announce that Kenzi Robi is the winner of NDI's first video contest!
Kenzi, a quadriplegic artist from San Francisco, wins $1,000 to help him further his American Dream and a trip to Washington, DC! This will be Kenzi's first time in the nation's capital and we're delighted to make this trip possible for him.
Kenzi will present his video at the Real Economic Impact Tour's 6th Annual Kick-Off and Celebration to be held at the National Press Club.
Each year we gather to celebrate a new year of the REI Tour's important work and to honor successes of the previous year. This year's event will be held on Tuesday, October 19th at 1pm. For more event details and information on how to RSVP, view the full invitation.
