WINTER READING CLUBwarm up with a good book

Log Books through Valentine's Day

See the Guidelines

Don't forget, every time you log a book you've read in the library's winter reading club, your name is automatically entered in prize drawings. It's that simple.

  • Join and log books from a computer (at home or in the library) or use a smart phone. Our reading club pages are mobile friendly.
  • Teens and adults have the option of writing reviews and posting them on Facebook.
  • Audio and downloadable books count too!

Two grand prizes will be awarded to people in each of four groups (a total of eight). Sign up or log books now by clicking your category:

Children (birth through grade 5)

Families (one account and password for the whole family)

Teens (grade 6 to age 19)

Adults (ages 18 and up)

Children may also pick up a prize each week at the children's desk if they've read and logged another book since their last visit: 6 weeks, 6 prizes (limit 1 per week). Children too young to read may have a title entered under their name when a book is read aloud to them. We'll select a grand prize in this category that's suitable for the winner's age.

For each book teens and adults log online, their names are automatically entered in weekly prize drawings for gift cards for area restaurants AND entered in a final drawing for a Kindle Fire or a $100 Visa gift card. Prizes are sponsored by the Friends of the Hancock County Public Library
