 SAFETY CITATIONS are BACK!

          Safety Citation

The Seattle Fire Department is once again teaming up with the SAFE Kids organization to encourage children to make the safe choice of wearing a helmet while bicycling, skateboarding and inline skating. This summer, Seattle firefighters and bike medics will be issuing Bicycle Safety Citations to children spotted properly wearing their helmet. Each citation entitles the child to a free child-size sandwich at participating Subway locations. The goal of the program is to reduce the incidence of childhood head injuries.

Be on the lookout for firefighters handing out Safety Citations in your community!
