Celebrates July in the Hamptons
at two major Art Fairs!

Dear (Contact First Name),

Welcome July!

Two summers ago, I visited the Hamptons for a weekend in July and was blown away by the world-class quality of Art & Antique shows, shops and events I found here. Don't know why that was all such a surprise to me, as I was no stranger to the Hamptons, and I already knew the region has long been a haven for the arts, the birthplace for the Abstract Expressionist Movement, and home to many emerging artists who have found international acclaim. The area is magical for anyone who visits, and artists and arts enthusiasts in particular have always found tremendous inspiration in the natural beauty and wonders of the light, the landscape and the sea... clearly this was all part of my own draw back here every year!

But, never before had I seen the level of world class art showcased through such high-level internationally acclaimed art shows as I was witnessing then. It was all part of the inspiration behind my own reason to make the Hamptons my home, and I haven't turned back since.

This July, there will be two such major art shows further putting the Hamptons on the map as the place to be for finding, purchasing and collecting world class art. Two major art fairs bring the best of the best in galleries, artists, media, sponsors and collectors together for one amazing season to savor, mingle and celebrate a new season for art collecting.

If you are not already a collector or arts aficionado, this would be a good time to consider learning more about becoming one. At either show you will have the opportunity of meeting top-quality gallerists in the relaxed setting of a Hamptons art fair, mingling with the artists, celebrities and collectors, who like myself are drawn to these events, and catching the art collecting bug. These are the shows and the location to start with, as the breadth of art that will be offered will match every budget and taste level. Even if you don't buy, you will want to visit, as there are very few other venues anyone can see museum quality art outside of a big-city museum in the relaxed setting of a horse farm or historical society.

At the same time, both shows will also be donating a percentage of their proceeds to support local non-profit organizations. The cost of your tickets will benefit many of the arts organizations that have long become important cultural institutions in the Hamptons, but need continued support: The Bridgehampton Historical Society, Guild Hall, the Parrish Art Museum, Bay Street Theatre, The Children's Museum of the East End and Southampton Hospital. Nice to know that while you are enjoying a day at the fair, your dollars are helping to support a local institution.

Mark these dates on your calendars and Read On!

Hope to see you at the Fairs!

Lisa

ArtHAmptons Large Crowds

The Right Number and Caliber of Galleries

The number of galleries this summer will be reduced to 60, from 90 last year. This will help provide for a more comprehensive and manageable art viewing experience. International in scope, the fair will showcase renowned art dealers from more than 10 countries, including the UK (10 dealers), Spain, Germany, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Israel, Russia, Japan, China and Korea. The Selection Committee has endeavored to select only those galleries with compelling art programs, excellent reputations and those that exhibit the utmost in integrity.

A Memorable Art Viewing Experience

View the art in a new and improved 50,000 square foot modular museum on 5 bucolic acres. Walk through the impressive sculpture garden and enter the building through a spectacular glass lobby. Fully air-conditioned with reinforced and carpeted floors, each year this striking museum in a field becomes the largest modular structure ever to be constructed on the East End of Long Island.
