Many design assumptions are based on the results of initial product testing and therefore the final product's function can hinge on this information.  To help ensure the accuracy and repeatability of test results, the ASSE /ANSI Z359 Accredited Standards Committee has established the ASSE/ANSI Z359.7 "Qualification and Verification Testing of Fall Protection Products" standard.

Connector PosterComing Soon: Connectors Safety Poster

Connectors are critical elements used to join personal fall protection system components. Although these components should remain securely closed and locked once assembled, that is not always the case. Use of an improper coupling method may cause a snaphook to disengage or roll out when a load is applied to the gate.

This 19" x 27" full-color, glossy safety poster illustrates some common misuses of connecting hardware.  Key features and different types of connectors are also highlighted.
