Trash Collection Schedule Changes Start this Week
Some residents will get a new trash collection day, recycling collection week.

Beginning today, Monday, August 9, the City's residential trash collection day and recycling collection week will change for some customers to increase efficiency and balance service routes. Residents can visit www.greensboro-nc.gov/ServiceChanges to see their collection day.

In addition to trash collection day and recycling week changes taking place August 9, the schedule for bulk collection (items too large to fit in a trash container) will change from weekly pickups to every other week pickups for all residents. Bulk items will be picked up the same weeks that recycling items are collected.

Yard waste and appliance collection services will not change. This means that yard waste will be collected on your regular service day -- no appointment is needed -- and appliances are collected by appointments by calling 373-CITY (2489).
