Dear Progressives,
Welcome to the summer finally. As the temperatures rise, keep yourself hydrated and please keep active. Your community needs you! (Not just for the work you can do - there's fun stuff, too.) There are campaign worker trainings that can teach skills that are also useful for personal grassroots work in your neighborhood. There are issue awareness events that are great to expand your horizons and to enjoy beverages, finger food, and good company. There are interesting movies coming out that don't feature explosions. We'll share our favorites, and please give us a heads-up on things you discover. We at the South Side on Lamar office appreciate your continued interest, your continued support, and your continued input on what's going on in Texas. Please keep it coming. The Progressive Center is barely a year old, and it's still going strong because of the incredible spirit and generosity in North Texas. Thanks to you all! Be Well and Be Progressive,
Events at The Progressive Center:
Bill White University - new session! Saturday, May 22nd, 10:00am to 4:00pm The original session on May 15th is FULL and happening at the former ObamaDallas space across from the model train exhibit at South Side on Lamar. This one-day training session is primarily designed for those who want to get

opportunities (This opportunity does require an application and
additional training on Saturday)
With the help of supporters like you, we can make Texas a place where
