Dear Progressives,
Today is April 12 and that can mean only one thing: it's time to vote (again). We here at the Progressive Center revel in all things democratic and that means voting often (not in a Chicago sense, but rather for everything from constitutional amendments to school board seats - May 8th this year, cough, cough - sense). We know that you were just getting comfortable after the hard fought primaries but now is not the time to be complacent! There are several well qualified candidates that are still trying to reach you and get you to come out again to vote once more. Many of your precincts have been consolidated for the Runoff Election Day. You can go to your local board of elections website for your county to find the voting locations. Please feel free to look up the candidates for the primaries from the Dallas Morning News Voter Guide or find your local chapter of the League of Women Voters, who do an excellent job of creating handy voting information documents.
Progressively Yours,
