Dear Progressives,
Wow! We had a great time and a great crowd for the David Plouffe book-signing event last Monday night. Plouffe spoke about the content in his book for about 25 minutes, then went into a generous Q & A session with the 300+ people who came to Deux for the evening. Plouffe covered various topics including the current health care reform agenda, the emergence of Texas as a battleground state in 2012, and reminisced about the 2008 campaign with volunteers.
As we head into the holiday season, we hope you and yours have a spectacularly swine flu-less time. We're diving deep into development of programs for 2010, so we'll be having just a couple of social events over the next 6 weeks, including a year-end Claudia Fowler's Coffee & Conversation wrap-up social that we'll announce soon.
Be Well, and Be Progressive!
Tracy Clinton & Molly Hanchey
