Greetings Progressives,
Tracy's jetting out to Washington, D.C. to meet friends from the campaign and take a meeting about the PCT & OFA, and Molly and Claudia are prepping for a second meeting of the Progressive Women at the office Saturday morning, but we needed to sneak out one more email before the weekend officially began.
If you're interested in a rare opportunity to sit in on a dialogue between two local U.S. Congressional representatives about health care reform, you've got to sign up now for Charting America's Health Care Future on Monday the 17th. Your Progressive Center is a hosting sponsor and we're going to be there. Check out details below! The seating is very limited. Tracy joined many of you at mildly hostile Congressman Pete Sessions town hall in Richardson a few days ago, and he was impressed by the patience and caliber of questioning from progressives. That said, 600+ people showed up at that event with more than a hundred turned away. Please register today for this event on the SMU campus. The colorful, loud Tea Party people will be there, will you be there to represent progressive rationality? We hope so.
Be Well, and Be Progressive!
