 Beach vitex Quarantine
 
 VDACS has established a quarantine which prohibits the movement of Beach vitex. This quarantine is effective October 26, 2009. The quarantine prohibits the movement of Beach vitex or any soil, sand, or mulch which contains Beach vitex within or from the counties of Accomack and Northampton on the Eastern Shore and the cities of Norfolk and Virginia BeachClick here for details

Notices are now being mailed to Virginia Certified Horticulturist (VCH) with a transcript of CEUs on record, and when their next re-certification is due. This information is usually sent to the individuals home address. If you are certified or have VCH on staff and do not receive a notice by November 15, contact the VNLA office to verify VCH status at vch@vnla.org

Emerald Ash Borer University.  This is a series of webinars that will offer people the opportunity to learn a lot of great information about EAB without incurring excessive costs and time expenditures related to actual travel.  All of the webinars are free, although registration is required to access them.  There are names and contact information on the page should you have questions about the University.
