Guide to Virginia Growers 2009 Update
TO: VNLA Grower Members

REMINDER: Official deadline for submitting your listings for the 2009 VNLA Guide to Virginia Growers is September 30.

You should have received a mailing the first of September with forms to add your listings for 2009. If you didn't get it or need another copy, please let me know and we can send you another copy. All the forms are also available in one PDF file on the website at    www.vnla.org/GrowerGuide/GuideForms09.pdf

If you need additional time to update your listings for the 2009 Guide, let me know and we'll work with you on your time schedule.

NEW in 2009: Growers participating in the VNLA's Beautiful Gardens® "Plants of Merit" program in 2009 will also be listed on a separate "Beautiful Gardens" page in the Guide and will have a BG logo symbol next to their name in the directory listing, recognizing your participation in this program in 2009.

This year, many businesses are experiencing flat or lower sales volume than previous years, but in times like these, leading marketing experts say that this is the time when you should step up your sales and marketing program. The VNLA Guide to Virginia Growers is a great way to promote your products with listings in the Guide and ads promoting your products and why they should be buying from your nursery. Think location, plant selection, quick order delivery, plant quality and all the things that make your plants 'Virginia's Finest'!
This Guide is one of the few things that your customers will keep on their desk as a reference source for the entire year!

Let me know if you have any questions or need an extension of time!

Thanks, Jeff
