PRI To Host 3rd Annual Coca Cola 600 Reception In Huntersville, NC, May 23
Racing industry folks in North Carolina, or those in town for the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, may want to stop by the PRI Reception at the Red Rocks Cafe, in Huntersville, NC, on May 23, as part of the race week's festivities. We've had great times at the previous two receptions, and are making it a fun annual tradition. There'll be cocktails, appetizers, cold beer and the camaraderie of industry friends. The PRI team is looking forward to seeing everyone again. The reception is exclusively for members of the racing industry only, and will be held from 7 to 10 p.m., Wednesday night, May 23. 14 Racing Companies Added to 2012 PRI Show Floor Plan Last Week - Booth Locations Still Available
The PRI team added another 14 exhibitors to the PRI Show floor plan last week. "The entrepreneurial spirit is growing ever stronger in the racing industry, following some challenging years. These racing companies are looking to further grow their sales in 2013, and they're making the PRI Show a key part of their plans," said PRI's John Kilroy. Founders of Racer Magazine--Paul Pfanner & Bill Sparks--Re-acquire It From Haymarket
Automotive media and marketing veterans Paul Pfanner (shown in photo) and Bill Sparks have acquired RACER Magazine and Racer.com from Haymarket Media. RACER celebrates its 20th Anniversary in April with the release of the May 2012 issue. They were the founding management team. The acquisition also includes the company's custom publishing arm, which produces SportsCar magazine for the SCCA.

Performance & Racing Aftermarket Is Showcased During Australian Automotive Week -- PRI Participates In Event
Australia's $11 billion automotive aftermarket industry showcased its technologies, including high-performance and racing components, in the Australian Automotive Week program held in Melbourne during the week leading into the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix.
