Join our presenter, Jeanne Stone, a Montana Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Rural Institute Consumer Advisory Council member, to learn how Montana VR can assist with the transition from high school to adult living. Jeanne will share a video geared toward transition-age youth and then entertain questions from audience members.
Presenter Bio:
Jeanne Stone is a single mother of four, including a daughter with Autism. Jeanne has worked for many years in the disability field, first as a coach/manager in a sheltered workshop, then as support staff at Blind and Low Vision Services, and now as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor based out of the Missoula Office. Jeanne's daughter has transitioned successfully from high school to the working world - she has held a part-time community-based job as dishwasher and prep cook for the last eight years. Jeanne uses her varied experience to help her high school and adult clients transition into or back into the work world.
