Transition Tidbits
Good afternoon, Listserv members! We have a few transition tidbits to share with you this holiday week:

(1) DRM Enhances Electronic Presence:
Disability Rights Montana has several exciting ways to access up-to-date information of interest to the disability community. First, visit their updated web site at http://www.disabilityrightsmt.org/janda/. While there, check out the weekly blog entitled "52 Weeks." According to DRM, the blog "features people, places and issues that are part of the everyday reality of people with disabilities. At least once a week, DRM will feature a person with a disability, a place that supports people with disabilities, or an issue that affects people with disabilities." Finally, DRM is now active on Twitter and will be sending daily tweets. Sign up at www.twitter.com/drightsmt.

(2) Autism Society Web Site:
This web site allows you to find autism resources in your state and local area. Visit the site at http://www.autism-society.org/site/PageServer?pagename=stateresources.

(3) MCEC 2010 Conference:
Save the date! The 2010 Montana Council for Exceptional Children Conference on Diverse Abilities will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula, Montana, April 7th-9th. Registration packets, call for abstracts and award nomination forms will be available in December on the MCEC web site (www.mtcec.org) or the WM-CSPD site at www.wmcspd.org/moodle

(Please note: the Transition Projects at the University of Montana Rural Institute shares information and resources our listserv members may find of interest.  We do not endorse the web sites or workshop contents or their providers, and we assume no responsibility for the validity of information provided on sites or in sessions not hosted by our agency.)
