 Dearest Friends,
As I travel and speak to different groups of people from all walks of life, I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful it is to see people changed and transformed by our loving God. All I can say is that it makes me even more determined to keep pressing on. As I write the summer course and the fall series, the Lord has been so present. These teachings are very much needed for today, as we live in challenging times. I do hope that you and your friends plan on attending. Thanks for your continued love and support of me personally and to DNG. Together we are making a difference that will last for eternity!

I want to personally thank each of you for your continued support of Drawing Near to God Ministries. We have just ended an exciting year and are looking forward to seeing all that God has in store over the summer and into our next season.
Below is a note from Steve Wood, Senior Pastor of St. Andrews Mount Pleasant, who has been hosting Drawing Near for 10 years. He understands and fully supports my desire to see our community come together and study God's Word as we grow spiritually together.
New Wine International is an amazing weekend of extraordinary teaching and worship and I hope that you will consider joining us for as many sessions as you are able to attend June 24-27. Having talked with Joanne, I wanted to express my appreciation for your commitment to Drawing Near To God by personally investing in your spiritual growth and development by offering you an opportunity to participate in New Wine at a substantially reduced registration fee. By that I mean this: you pay what you can and I'll personally cover the rest.
If you've not been to New Wine, the weekend is amazing. We've brought in an internationally acclaimed speaker in Kenny Borthwick; and Christian recording artist Vicky Beeching will be on site leading worship. Additionally, we have workshops set up to equip you with practical skills to live the Christian life to the fullest. So, folks like your very own Joanne Ellison, Becky Kerr, Sherri Grady, Rob Sturdy, Andy Morgan and Shay Gaillard will be leading breakouts. We will address topics like growing in spiritual gifts, dealing with grief and learning to hear the voice of God.
Participation also includes community building events like barbeque on Friday night by Todd Scofield and a beach party/ free cookout Sunday at the Citadel Beach House.
