Win a Free Class Trip to the ROM
Contest Rules and Regulations:
1. No purchase necessary.
2. Contest open to Canadian residents, except residents of the province of Québec and employees, volunteers, representatives or agents of the ROM.
3. All entries must be received no later than 6:00 PM (ET) on Friday, November 13, 2009 at which time the contest will be closed and no further entries shall be accepted.
4. Only one qualifying entry per email address during the contest period will be accepted.
5. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.
6. The contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
7. Your chance of winning will depend on the number of entries received.
8. To be confirmed as a prize winner, selected entrant must first correctly answer a skill-testing question and be in compliance with the contest rules. The prize must be claimed and used by March 31, 2010. A blackout date applies for December 19, 2009 through January 3, 2010.
9. One (1) prize will be awarded. Prize consists round trip transportation by the school of the class' standard school bus provider (or equivalent); group admission to a maximum of forty (35) students, teachers and/or teacher aides; an exhibit lesson with a ROM teacher; group lunch in Food Studio (approximate value of $12 per person). Any additional expenses are the sole responsibility of the prize winner(s).
10. By participating in this contest, the prizewinner agrees that his/her name, photograph, voice and/or image may be used in any and all forms of media, without any further compensation by the ROM. The winner waives all rights (including moral rights) with respect to printed, broadcast, online and other forms of publicity.
11. Winning entry will be drawn at random on or about Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Prizewinner will be contacted by the ROM during the week of November 23, 2009. In the event that the selected entrant cannot be contacted by phone within seven (7) days of being selected, does not complete and return the required documentation within seven (7) days of notification or does not otherwise comply with these contest rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate entry selected.
12. Prize must be accepted as awarded.
13. Prize is non-transferable, not refundable, not redeemable for cash, will not be extended under any circumstances and must be accepted as offered. Any unused portions of the prize will be forfeited and will have no cash value.
14. By participating in the contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules. Failure to comply with these rules may void the entrant's rights vis a vis any prize. Interpretation of these rules by the ROM shall be final.
