| Greetings! Thank you to all who attended and supported our Reception and Fundraiser at Emerson College. We are happy to report we raised nearly $10,000 and spent an enjoyable evening in the Bordy Theater. The event honored Dr. Marilyn Neault for her incredible dedication to children with cochlear implants, Dawn and Ed O'Neill, parents and supporters of the Decibels Foundation and Arielle Blake, recipient of the 2nd annual Decibels Foundation Award.

A Night Under the Stars

Please join us for a 'Night Under the Stars' with wine tasting, live music and more
 May 9, 2009 6:00 p.m. The home of Kelli and Chip Stables Carlisle, MA
The
Stables, a local family of a child with hearing loss have made a selfless
contribution by planning and hosting this wine tasting fundraiser to benefit the Decibels
Foundation. The evening will include a
Silent Auction, Live Auction, Wine Pull, Live Music, Open Bar and
Appetizers.
Wine tasting provided by Colonial Spirits.

Auction items will include: Artwork, Red Sox Tickets, One Week Vacation at a Beach Home in North Carolina, GPS System, Catered Romanian Dinner for 6, Sunday River Vacation Ski Rental, Sports Memorabilia, Massages and more...

Frontiers Conferences Saturday, June 20, 2009 The Decibels Foundation is proud to sponsor two half day family focused conferences in conjunction with the international Molecular Biology of Hearing and Deafness Conference.
Come join us for one or both half day sessions to learn the latest on
the causes, management, and treatments of hearing loss and/or Usher
syndrome. Usher syndrome is the leading cause of deaf blindness in the
United States and Europe. It is estimated that between 8-15% of people
with childhood hearing loss have Usher syndrome.

The Decibels Foundation 7th Annual Golf Tournament

Register Now for Decibels' Charity Golf Tournament

It
is hard to believe that we are back in the planning stages of our 7th Annual
Golf Tournament! As always we can't be as successful as we are without
your help. Here are a few options to help us make '09 our record year!
Do
you want to play golf?
If you or anyone you know wants to golf, register by mail or click here to register online. Please register early as we are limited to
144 golfers and have sold out the tournament for the past six years.
Do not play golf or unable to participate?
You can still help.
Donate Items: We are looking for
items to put in the raffle and silent auction. If you have any connections
(a friend with a ski house/summer place, Red Sox Tickets, golf merchandise, restaurant
gift certificates, a skill, or a service), PLEASE let us know by
emailing Krista Scheall.
Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated. We are a 501(c)3 so all contributions are tax
deductible.
Sponsorship
Opportunities: There are also a
number of sponsorship options available that provide varying levels of benefits
and visibility to this great event. These sponsorships are available for small
to large companies as well as families and individuals.
Become a Volunteer for the Day: We always need volunteers to help
out with registration, the game holes and selling raffle tickets. Email Krista for
more information.
Donate Online: We are always
grateful for monetary donations, all of which are tax deductible. You can
