We hope your new year is off to as great of a start as ours.  The Decibels Foundation is looking forward to many exciting events and opportunities in 2009, but we first want to thank you for your generosity in these difficult economic times.  We received a far greater response to our holiday mailing than expected and for that, we are extremely grateful.

The Decibels Foundation is proud of its growing relationship with Emerson College.  For the second year in a row we will be sponsoring a Decibels Scholar in the Thayer Lindsley Family-Centered Program.  We are also proud to be the first outside organization invited to use the historic Bordy Theater at Emerson College for an event.

The evening will include:

 - Featured items:  Sports memorabilia, Red Sox tickets, Mia American Girl of  the Year 2008 (no longer available in stores!), a painting by Isabelle Schnadig

The Decibels Foundation Education Award to an outstanding student in the Emerson College Graduate Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders
