Spring is upon us and we're fast approaching the end of the school year and the start of summer.  Get ready for your 2010 Costa Mesa Pop Warner season set to start on Sunday, August 1st!  Moving into our third year since relocating to a new home, it's been something else to watch everyone's hard work affect the phenomenal growth of our league.  This year, we are looking at fielding ten football teams, and seven cheer squads.  That's a 100% growth in team count since three years ago!  Today we're aiming at becoming 350 plus children strong and again providing for them, a top of the line practice facility at a CMPW "Home" field and playing our home games on a $10 Million synthetic turf field at Jim Scott Stadium.
 
I am also happy to report that we are quickly filling our team rosters in all three categories of Flag, Tackle, and Cheer.  If you know of any families interested in Mesa Football this year, please have them sign up now!  Our next Open House/Walk-up Registration will be held Saturday, April 17th from 8:30-12:00pm at Parsons Field.  Raffle distribution and preliminary weigh-ins will also be held at the same time...same place!  We are fast approaching capacity so don't miss out!!

It has been a rich and rewarding experience serving our community as President of Costa Mesa Pop Warner for the past two years.  As I mentioned in the past, our league goal is to help our youth mature and grow through the experience of competitive sports; ultimately we are inspiring kids to be the best!  My goal has always been to exceed the expectation of every child and parent that entrusted me with the Pop Warner Football experience.  Entering my final year as President of Costa Mesa Pop Warner, I'm looking forward to yet another successful season for all involved - GO 2010 MESA EAGLES!
