A First time adventure into Saturday night Sunday morning double header with the 6 piece Yum Session band playing music, Improv style to the dancing vibe in the Ballroom.

The YUM Sessions from San Luis Obispo is coming to Oakland with a sextet of musicians including members from Hamsa Lila - they are creating 2 Sessions, back to back, welcoming in the Spring Equinox! 

Saturday Night: 8 ~ 11:00pm 

AND Sunday Morning 10:30am ~ 1pm 

 

$15 per person or $20 for both dances!

Inspired by the teachings in Soul Motion, 5 Rhythms, Contact Improvisation and experienced by thousands of participants during west coast regional tours, these movement sessions use LIVE music as the bridge between deep trusting and spontaneous connection. Explore soulful body awareness through breath, through beat, through dance, through movement..! Continuous, improvised musical elements blend East, West and World grooves with ambient sound landscapes, moving you through an energetic wave into a blissful stillness at journey's end.
