The Future is here... 2010
1. Dance Free on your Birthday.
For the week of your birthday, dance as our guest either Wednesday Night or Sunday Morning at Sweet's Ballroom. Celebrate yourself in movement!
2. The Mezzanine is now open Wednesday Nights!
Tables lit by candlelight. Here you are welcome to meet one another, and share your words together. Walk upstairs, and enjoy a new perspective.

Hear some history, vision, and current realities.
4. Sunday Ecstatic Dance set 12/20/09 with

Eric is taking over Friday nights at Castro Yoga Tree with Global Grooves, Flow Yoga, & Kirtan. "Liquid Temple" - Enjoy the free tunes, Thanks Eric!
5. We are looking for a communications assistant
who is comfortable with website maintenance, and occassional tasks for a few hours a week. Email Tyler at EcstaticDance.org@gmail.com
6. Historic Sweet's Ballroom is looking for more events in their space. If you have an idea (and the budget), please contact Rob (the new manager) at 510-663-1933. This space should be used by the community in various ways.
7. Yoga this month is taught by David Schlussel (Anusara-inspired), except Jan. 10, subbed by Shy Sayar. Contact Improv this month taught by Jeremy Weischel. Great opportunities to study with these wise veterans of Yoga and Dance.

DJ Spotlight - Rhythmystic
A message from Kenny:
This Sunday,
We'll get to play with a full range of connected sounds, from luminous pearls to silly
putty bass equations to pure soul music from the land of joy to unrepentant straight up
'n get down dirty ill-funk to the pure and deadly swinging high hats of deep jackin'
house to smacked up and peaked out breakbeat to the tribal catharsis and all the way
back down the ladder to a puddle on the floor. And 12 other sounds and styles from all
over the world that slide right in between all the other ones.
And for those that haven't been there and are wondering: this is not a laid back,
thinned out scene that's struggling to find it's critical mass. Uh, no. This is a packed,
bust
out mob of dedicated sound and play movement sadhaks. The place is full
to the gills, the dancers are hot and you can reach right out, grab the
energy, pack it into a molten snowball, throw it and watch it spread
out over the whole floor.
